annoying problem in winxp

When I try to open a file from Winamp (this applies to all programs actually) the files displayed are listed "backwards", in other words the first file starts with the last letters of the alphabet. This is so annoying, how can I change it?

Well yeah, it works but the problem doesn't go away. If only it were this easy lol. Every time I click "load" again the files are "backwards" again.

tell you what

go to my computer then go into the c drive
then right-click, arrange by name
then click "tools" on the menu, then choose "folder options"
click on the "view" tab
click "apply to all folders"
