suicide

i had a best friend commit suicide a few years ago and it left me devastated, and ultimately changed how i view friendship. i was just wondering if there was anyone else on the boards that has had to deal with this issue?

i think about my friend from time to time and it saddens me. life is too precious sometimes, but i guess we must all move on.

to the depressed, there is always hope! no matter how dark and empty the tunnel may seem, there is always a shining light at the end of the tunnel!

cheers
chris

A kid that I had known from gradeschool commited suicide when I was in 11th grade. Really strange feeling in school as word got around, halls were more quiet than usual.

someone truly depressed will argue that the light is a train coming your way.

Life is a gift, accept it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is a mystery, unfold it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a struggle, face it.
Life is beauty, praise it.
Life is a puzzle, solve it.
Life is opportunity, take it.
Life is sorrowful, experience it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a goal, achieve it.
Life is a mission, fulfill it.

Well, 3 years ago I used to hang out with a girl who had strong suicidal tendencies and after a while, I was actually feeling very suicidal too (I was open because I was in love with her and I was feeling myself miserable too, so anyone could've seen it coming). She failed in all her 3 attempts and I always had that "tomorrow will be better and I'm gonna die someday anyway" so I just had attempts of attempts (I got drunk before "killing myself" and I wasn't able to go any further ) - although that sadness "froze" 2 or 3 years of my life, as I couldn't study properly and it was during the time I was about to get into college.

I reckon it must've been hard, but whatever your beliefs are, "being stuck" in the memories of the past will not be helpful, neither to you nor to your friend (I know this isn't the proper expression, but I really don't know how else I can say it in English, sorry). Just commit to the promise you won't let it happen again by not doing the same thing and enjoying every second you've got breathing

2 girls I know very good tried it.
She called me when she was doing it and I was really freaking out.
So helpless, sometimes the silences on the phone were fucked up, thinking about what happened. But they both failed.

I still hang around with em. I hope they won't do that shit to me again cause I'll bitchslap em :/ And if they do, DO NOT CALL ME ...
