what an awesome program this was!

i didnt see it, although i would feel a bit overloaded on "films about a clever person" having already seen a beautiful mind and good will hunting recently.

how exactly did he come to be paralysed? sorry if i'm being thick. i saw the advert for it and really wanted to see it. did he have an accident or was it a condition he developed?

Posted by KilldaDJ on Apr-17-2004 12:18:

King

he was suffering from motor neurone disease or something like that and throughout the program his condition was deteriating or something..

i missed like the first 25 minutes as i was returning from mates house...so i didnt catch the plot :/

I thought it was quite good, although I was expecting a documentary-type thing rather than an actual film. It's quite interesting how he proved a couple of his lecturers wrong about the whole "beginning of the universe" thing. Go Hawking!! And he did well with that bird too.
