i've never seen dave seaman spin before so im wondering if i should go??? should I????

Posted by pyro264jb on Apr-14-2004 05:17:

Dave is usally on point in terms of his style, mixing, and programming. So when I went to Nerve on Monday March 8th to see him, Hernan, Infusion, and Phil K I had high expectaions. To make a long story short Hernan sucked, Phil put everyone in that place to sleep and Seaman just wasn't what I expeceted at all. He no control over his set or the crowd. At one point he droped Deekay - Intergalactic then went into a deep slow house song..... how does that flow? .... it don't. Me and Michelle left the party at 3:30 b/c we couldn't stand the music or the club.

The question is, did you catch Infusion?

Not the biggest fan of prog anymore, but when Dave played with Infusion at CentroFly last year he had that place jumping.

...but you forgot to metion that Infusion ROCKED!!! Watch it here again...

To be honest, I think it's hard for any DJ to top their performance. The club was rockin' and I'm surprised you guys left.

I've seen Dave Seaman probably 7-8 times now - Twilo, Miami, Ibiza, Vinyl, Avalon... and he always seems to do it for me. He is a master mixer and his track selection is usually on point. His Global Underground CDs are a good indicator if you want to check out what he sounds like.

Also, Phil K is a technical master!!! He's worth that spot on the mezzanine. Even Sasha says so

I'm going

I heard from many people that Dave rocked it at the Guv last week. I'm looking forward to this. Hope to see some of you!

i want to thank avalon and a-girl for the free comps for this past saturday night. i actually had a pretty good time. my friends and i thought we got gypped because seaman played only an hour initially (from 1-2) and were about to leave cuz we didn't see dave in the booth, but he came back... it was a pretty cool tag team night by dave seaman and phil k. some progressive, some breaks... pretty fun! and it wasn't as packed as some nights. heh but the 20+ 18 y/os on the line just as i entered (bouncers labeled them as such) scared the heck outta me (even tho they were dressed better than me)

was good meeting avikonen
