DPressure Launch Nite April 10th (Solarstone / Scott Bond / Matt Hardwick)

As this is a new nite and i think its gonna be an important little addition to the monthly london calendar if all goes right i thought i'd just post some photos etc from last Friday.

Musta got in at about 11.30 so caught the last 45mins or so of Ehron Stowers set, who was basically just whacking out anthem after anthem, mostly melodic, current ASOT kinda stuff.

Solarstone started cold, letting Ehron fade down and got a mic intro. They intro'd with a really nice acapella which i think may have been a bootleg, maybe theirs, not sure, i've not heard it before anyway. Think it was a remake of an old track called Jump That Train, with a female vocal, but it was fkin nice. Then as that built next was White Room - White Room, which is my tune of the month, so i was loving it, then i think Third Earth and i couldn't give a fk after that, coz i was rushin' my botty off. A good few Solarstone remixes as you'd expect, but quite a proggy set as far as i can remember. Their 90 minute set finished with Seven Cities which was just freakin' mental to finally hear live.

Scott, again started on a mic intro and played a pretty solid 90 mins set. The Matt took over with a really nice, mixed melodid and uplifting set, few dark bits in there for good measure.

Place was TINY. Its a part of Heaven that doesn't get used for the main event, so its a 500 only admission i think. Three lasers (getting pretty much continual use), smoke and tv screens, pretty small dancefloor and a pretty nice balcony (where the phonecam shots are from). TV screens were a bit shit really, graphics severely need bumping into the 21st century and it made the place just that wee bit too light, but all in all a fkin marvelous, very friendly and close party atmosphere. Feels like its run by clubbers for clubbers, and i'm all for that.

Definitely up for the next one (Above & Beyond headlining with Dogzilla supporting i think).

As Mag said this night is pretty special. For me personally it beats ten tons of shit out of Turnmills and Crasher, the atmos. was so wild i felt like i was clubbing with 500 of my closest friends instead of 500 strangers.

Heres a little list of some of tunes played that made my night:

Salwater - The Legacy
Tiesto - Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Remix)
3rd Earth (Agnelli and Nelson Remix) and what sounded like an Outback Remix?
Naked Angel (2 Mixes Im not sure of)
Whirlpool - Under The Sun
SEVEN CITIES (V-one Living Remix)
Vascotia - Calibro (Sonicvibe Remix)
Witness of Wonder - Emotions in motion (Thrillseekers Remix)
Arc in the Sky - Vaniquer

If your in London get your ass there!

That go pop and shower lil shiny squares of foil down. Not as good as the foil blower they have at Pacha, but nice nonethless.
