i like to use lockers, and i am getting really annoyed with the fact that people dont sign out

So this is just a memo, to say, thanx for everyone who shares. And if u use a locker

!! SIGN OUT!!

This should get the point across, please support this thread, and let me know if u have read this, and what u think??

The only bad point about lockers is that u cant leach, as i am a 56k user, but they r still good, so make sure they can me free to use

I always sign off right after the download finishes. Can I sign off before it finishes? And what exactly happens when people don't sign out?

u can sing out as soon as the download is under way, it wont effect it, but if it is popular as soon as someone tries to sign in, u get singed out.

Just wont to get the point across, it seems a big problem at the moment, and being a 56k user, i dont want to set up a locker, for people to destroy, coz it would take about 30mins to upload each tune

Hopefully getting isdn soon, cant get cable, i live in a village, so ntl aint around hear yet, it sucks big time

I ALWAYS sign out because I have enough respect for the people that upload the things, and I know what a pain it can be to create a locker & upload the song(s) to it only to find out hours later that some inconsiderate pricks didn't sign out and the account is now suspended.

yep, if you don't sign out, the locker gets suspended and people can't use the locker no more. AND THAT SUCKS! so please sign out.

by the way, I'm making a locker right now and was about to bring it up but thanx freestyler for bringing this to everyone's attention.

I've just been introduce to the music lockers.....and its not really difficult to try to remember to sign out, its a small price to pay...

so make sure to sign out!!!....respect goes out to everybody that uploads tracks

I always sign out, purely out of respect and gratitude for the person who's locker it is. But am I the only one that thinks it's lame that that's not taken care of at the server level. To force everyone to manually log out and then punish a person for someone else forgetting to do so, sucks. They should fix their programming or someone who can do better needs to stand up and go head to head with them. They're asking for it (imho). THANKS to all who deal with that pain in the a@@ simply to make their music available to the rest of us. -Glyph

well, here is my take on the lockers:
i think the whole TA community has gotten a grasp of the SignOut feature. HOWEVER, people ALL tend to rush to the same locker @ the same time when a track is announced to be releaed. So wether people have finished with the locker, there is still about 5 simaeltaneous IPs using the locker, so Myplay will shut it down. It's not about the logging in/out, it's the amount of simaeltaneous users downloading from the same locker.

That is a very good point, but the whole point of this thread is to tell people who dont no, it is not hear for the people who already no about this.

I just want lockers to be free for everyone to share music, instead of suspended

just keeping it alive, but overall i think i got my point across
