Hi there...

After reading the top ten thread I decided to do a mix of some of my favourite tunes and make it available for download so...

Can anyone recommend any cheap (ie free) software that will record audio direct to mp3 or convert wav to mp3?

Musicmatch converts wav to mp3, and also lets you rip cds straight to mp3 and is available free from various sites. With you being from the UK try zdnet at [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Try a search at zdnet for mp3 mixers etc you never know what you might find

ps The best mp3 player is Winamp although you can't convert wav to mp3 - only mp3,wma etc. to wav
