Oops, of course I really really need more sleep..

a.that lineups f*ckin sh*te
b.its 40 to get in
c.there will be snifer dogs
d.it will be full of dafties

Posted by Spin Doctor on Apr-21-2004 20:39:

Sniffer dogs get everywhere these days, so I wouldnt add that to your reasons not to go.

Posted by chesco on Apr-21-2004 21:35:

The line-up this year doesn't interest me tbh.

The old school tent will more than likely pull in the wrong sort of crowd, but you have to expect that with any event that mixes old school and glasgow

I'll be saving my cash for a few nights at the arches and trips to gkgg and hopefully a week in ibiza

Posted by gatecrasher on Apr-22-2004 01:46:

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

Posted by zshev on Apr-23-2004 19:24:

Thats a quality line-up imo. Quite varied, didn't go last year so I don't know how the line-up is gonna work.

Way Out West -> Lisa Lashes.. rofl

I'll be in the main arena for most of the night, van Dyk, Ferry, NU-NRG, Push, Way Out West, can't wait!

Might take a trip to the Oldskool tent for Joe Deacon Metropolis Crew!!

there are so few sniffer dogs out there trained to be able to smell xtc tho as its so expensive .. unless ur trying to sneak in some smelly weed or maybe coke ..

Exactly! Hence another reason not to add sniffer dogs to the reasons not to go list

to be honest thats not really how it works though, all they have to do is get the dog to sniff you and say that it has smelled something on you, and then take you away for a search where they will inevitably find them on you. at the last gc nec there was LOADS of people who got carted away to the cells, and many got cautions.

Hopefully heading to this one depending on how long I'm in the UK...either I'll be out or this would be the last day. We don't see lineups like this in the states (we're lucky to see PvD or Ferry alone), so I'd just about shit my pants at this one

Posted by Master_Jay on May-13-2004 12:43:

I'm going only cause im getting in for free i wouldn't pay that much to get in and it will be full of neds from the back to the future tent.

Posted by zshev on May-13-2004 16:28:

It sure will, but the quality of the main tent just about balances out the fact that we'll need cope with idiots and their lightning fast hands drawing invisible 'big fish, small fish and cardboard boxes'.

So i'm still going

Not for free though, 36.50! How come you're going for free?

Posted by Martin McG on May-16-2004 12:10:

was going to go to this one for my 21st birthday but doubt i will

probably just head into glasgow now as a big part of the neds will be away to this
