I really wanted your opinion on this auction...i sold my behringer mixer cuz' it was too sloppy plus it didnt have med's knobs(only hi's and low's)
this one mixer has med's which would make it better for me....it very cheap///i dont know anything about specs of mixer so maybe someone can check those stats out and tell me if ts worth it...im just a bedroom dj's, im starting out so this would be a VERY GOOD buy for me.......
I have never heard of the company but the specs don't look too bad (though usually on cheap stuff the specs don't mean shit). Lots of features and channels. The pic looks real nice
On the one hand I would be very worried about he build quality and how long it will last you.
But damn, it is super cheap... I think it is hard to go wrong with something that cheap. In the long run spending more on a mixer so it will last longer is usually the best way to go. However I understand that budget can be a major factor for most people. Hopefully this will only be needed to tide you over till you get a nicer mixer.
In the end, I would probably go for it seeing as it is so damn cheap. It will probobly break sooner then better mixers. I say this only because I have not heard of them. I mean this company is a real no name. Some companies are known for making cheap DJ gear (Gemini, Pyle...) and then there are companies that make even cheaper stuff (like this one).
One good thing about having all those channels is that when one breaks you can usually just change. For example, on my Numark DM-3000X, the 3rd phono channel started getting a lot more noise than it used to. So I moved my TT to channel 2 and I am back in business
EDIT - For $180 (the claimed MSRP) I would avoid it like the plague. You can pick up the Numark DM-3000X for $80 bucks online. But for $30+$24 = $55 it is tempting. Actually now that I factor in shipping... if you can find the Numark for under $100 including tax and shipping I would do that instead.
I suggest you look at the numark mixers. THey go for around the same price and have good quality. I have never seen this before so I don't know what to tell you. If was you, i'd go for something more reputable at the same price.
Also checkout the mixers being sold by fellow TAs in the For Sale Forum. It looks like there is a Gemini 3 channel for 75 bucks (I would personally still go with a brand new Numark over this), and a Stanton RMS-3. The stanton is a crappy mixer if you pay too much for it, but if it is cheap enough (I would say under $100) it is a nice with lots of features.
i just need it for now....my old mixer sucked..so this would be a good upgrade...its cheap as hell. im just gonna save up until i get anought to get pioneer mixer.
i just got a feeling that a mixer that cheap will be D.O.A.
If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
for 30 bucks its worth the risk IMO.....u never know...it might be good for u!!
If I have learned one thing in life... it is that you get what you pay for.

BST is a french dj equipment brand. Generally not available elsewhere then Europe.
They're generally crap but some of their items do use some third party components ( cd players running a sony drive or something like that ) which can raise the quality level.
I was generally never impressed with their stuff it's so cheap to begin with. You get what you pay for.
But I have to say; one person I know uses a BST mixer quite similar to that one; and he says it's awesome. I saw it in action and the eq is nice; layout unclutered; great playability and it seems overall quality much to my surprise. ( btw this person is amit...but he's now gone to india so no more djing for him
)
I think you'll be happy if you get this.
