stacking vinyls

stacking vinyls on top of eachother.. just for like a lil, does it damage them (like a hr just swapping around between then ontop of each other)

Back when i had no idea, and no proper storage, i actually broke a record by stacking. Let that be a lesson for u all!

If they are of any value to you, you should absolutely avoid doing this.

yeah you should not do that, even if it's for an hour. i can easily imagine one record getting out of place and getting cracked.
i lean them against my table legs while i am using them and spinning, but i dont' keep them at that angle. they are best stored upright at a 90 degree angle.

IF theres any heat at all near the records, bam! instant warpage

i can't understand how so many dj's are so sloppy with their records...you go to the record store and they are throwing them around...

call me anal, but i always handle them gently and because of that...i have a great collection that is in perfect shape...why wouldn't you protect them...you payed a lot of money didn't you?
