Guv, saturday April, 24..any1?

Resnick and I are wondering if any1 would be heading to Guv for a simple night out on saturday, april 24?... not too early, and not too late, or whatever you're going for.

We have some free passes I think, and yea... just going for the booz and chillin', and some proggish stuff/ house i guess, or whatever gets played @ guv on saturdays these days.

so yea.. interested?..then POST!!!!!11

yeah i agree, i hate the cheese but aaron, thats what friends are for to make the best out of the place, personally i really dont care now, because the more fussy you are, your not going to enjoy it, just chill and go.

I havent heard a genuine MO set since December 31st. Didnt get to hear him at corsten.

Hard to believe for someone who use to go every week.

Last time I was there, the vibe was pretty fun. Me and this crazy Latino (seriously HUGE vatos loco dude) were chatting and chillin'. Dude looks scary, but he was very nice. All I'm saying is, try out a reg Spin Saturday, lots of things have changed and you might fall in love with it again

hehe not every week, maybe once in a blue moon, on a sunday. There was a time however, on a saturday night when I used to hit up money till 2 am, then head to guv till 5 or 6. Back in the day!

I prefer the music on a normal spin saturday much more than special events. The crowd needs a bit of sprucing up and some better promotion can do that (since most people obviously have the wrong idea about saturdays at guv) however, the crowd is still much better than most clubs in this town. And not stuck up either...

Also, what club in Toronto can beat guv when it comes to lights, talent and sound?

PS the club looks much much better now with the new black floors and walls.

In terms of sound BOA is better.

In terms of talent, well if your into Trance then yes GUV wins, if you like house/techno/prog then i'd say System or Boa.

In terms of lighting your right GUV wins.

In terms of staff friendliness BOA wins, System is also good in that respect.

Not stepping another foot at Guv regular night until MO starts spinning some normal music. Whatever he spins there now is complete and utter crap. I'm not sure why he plays like that, he knows very well he's capable to play much much better. His Trance sets are legendary! His prog sets make me wanna puke.
