"Vandit" t-shirts

Do you get these things when you order special PVD Vinyls? I keep seeing them listed under CD's with the name 12" Vinyl in the name.

Just wondering so I don't pay $20 US for something I could just order a vinyl and get.

Oh and Vandit shirts from PVD's website are 17 euro + 18 euro for shipping, that's like 57$ CAN

Just make your own, dude... for $57 bucks you can make a whole bunch and sell them as well.

i'm pretty sure the ONLY place you can get original VANDIT shirts is off his website.

the last two times he was at roxy, they did have pvd merchandise for sale. maybe they'll have a set-up at the guv too.

i made my own for going out cause i wanted a white tank w/VANDIT, and his online store doesn't offer that.

I would think so, but don't be surprised if you have to buy the whole package of iron-ons to get even just one done. Just call and check in any case.

Yeah I figured about having to buy the whole case. I want to make a few different ones.

A friend that made one for his band said that iron-on's fade quickly when you wash them a few times. Anyone have much experience with them?

Yeah, they definitely will fade faster than your typical printed tee that you'd buy at a store. Some people say it's not that bad though. Ask Liam (DJ LKD) - he knows about this stuff.

Well wouldn't it be like photocopying a book when you're doing research for a project? They pretty much always say that you're not allowed to reproduce the material in any manner. If it's for your own personal use and you're not distributing it to anyone else or making a profit off of it somehow, I don't believe that it matters.

I've been to the site before but i can't seem to get the Vandit file to load in Photoshop. I know its an illustrator file but some of the other logos from that site did load in photoshop. anybody else have a problem with the Vandit logo?

Posted by aarontrance on Apr-23-2004 17:10:

Just download the tryout version of Adobe Illustrator, I couldn't get the Vandit logo to open in anything but that.

I've had alot of experience with iron-ons ! I am taking graphic design and we always make shirts for projects.

Always buy the xerox brand, they are the best I have come across so far. You can get iron-ons for white shirts, and for black shirts. A white vandit logo would be nice on a black shirt. Practice on something first, before you actually make the shirt, because chances are your first try will not be perfect. Every time i've tried, I had to iron for 3 times as long as the directions say.

Make sure you wash your shirt inside out. The logo will fade tremendously, After three washes the logo starts to look shitty.

Hope this helps !!

Thanks for the advice Do you mean it will fade after 3 washes even if I wash it inside out?

Posted by Izra on Apr-23-2004 19:24:

Well it depends. I forgot to turn it inside out once (whoops). It should last if you take your time making the shirt, and remember to turn it inside out.

I am making a shirt right now that says "what the fuk are they doing to that mixer?" lol

HAHA nice shirt

Do you print them with your printer though?

Posted by Izra on Apr-23-2004 19:56:

ya I do. I have an alright printer but nothing special. I just fixed up a vandit logo, so it's big enough for a shirt, and it's not bitmapped. You can use it if you want !
