Not really, just helping out

Don't think she would run her own night.

I think this is great. It allows us to concentrate on what we do best Epic Trance and who better to take over the second room than Club-Liberty

Why not? Josh does (with friends).

this should be a top night of quality tunes. Again, some nice proggy and tech beats in the 2nd room provided by Club Liberty! Looking forward to hearing Wade play.

Main room looks great!! Obvious keen to hear JJ playing his new sound. He's been really keen for it, and has stressed to us how much he is trying to boost uplifting and melodic trance in Sydney.

What's his new sound? Uplifting trance?
Why the sudden change....I've never seen him on any uplifting trance lineups around Australia for the past 3 years I've been touring. Haven't seen him put any melodic trance albums out.

Last time I heard him play at Home it sounded like he was panelbeating a car.

I'd like to know what he's been doing to boost uplifting trance in Sydney that the rest of us haven't been struggling with for years now!!

LOL classic!

I think he switches between uplifting and banging hard shit depending on who he's playing with. Last night supporting Misja and Cameron at Progress he was pretty uplifting, stuff like Rapid Eye - Circa Forever, Super 8 - Alba and others (can't really remember though ).

Also he played just before Armin at Sublime a few months back, and his set was pretty spot on - finishing with GTR - Mistral was an absolute highlight

gee a bit edgy.

He hasnt played hard for a few months now, he is one of the biggest names in the scene in SYdney so if anyone can do it, it would be him.

He has a new CD coming out in a few weeks, will be uplifting.

Ive chatted to him a fair bit and he said he hates the hard stuff now.

yea so he has told me, but nothing certain yet. He wants to get a decent venue first.

Posted by Chookie on Apr-26-2004 05:43:

Yep, I'm looking forward to this, looking forward to playing out again!

Now I know where NV is, it's just that I always pictured it as ENVY, so when I read NV it didn't register until Keith read it out loud.
hehehe silly me

no cam

Posted by Joshva on Apr-27-2004 02:58:

Sorry Muli as usual your the last one to find out anything. I wanted Cam to play as always but we just couldn't fit soo many Dj's on and give everyone a minimum 1.5 hour set. So Cam gracefully offered to come and get drunk that night instead

Posted by muli on Apr-27-2004 03:23:

O right, well thats nice of him

Well hopefully we get to play one day

I'm pretty excited too! We've been out shopping for records, and although our set isn't a trance one this time it'll still be fun! We couldn't pick just one genre.

I've been practicing layering too... but I'm not sure I'm confident enough at it to do it in a club yet

Wayde, what style are you going to be spinning?
