Atlanta TA BBQ [04.24.04] -- Roll Call & Info!!!

Hey everyone! I started a thread to keep track of everything for the upcoming party. My primary concern is getting enough food and refreshments to keep everyone happy. First, I need a headcount of the people expected to attend. This will be a classic BBQ (hamburgers & hotdogs) thing. Feel free to suggest foods. I�ll probably make a few dishes to bring to the party (Chinese food :-q). Refreshments� feel free to bring whatever you like to drink. We�ll have sodas and water but alcohol�. Basically bring your own. There will be some (keg) there but it never hurts to bring enough for yourself and others. Mixers we can always run out and get but alcohol sales end around 12am.

P.S. Please keep this thread free of chatting. Chat in the other thread.

Depending on traffic, I'm going to say anywhere inbetween 6 and 8. Phil and I are leaving here once I get off work (probably around 11 30) Then we're going to get Greg and Cynthia, then head up there. Keep in mind though, it is a weekend and a ton of people are going to be on the road. So .... like I said, depending on the traffic.

ok, this is how we would like to do it. anyone that wants to drink beer, we'll have a keg, we are gonna charge $5 to get a cup. if you wanna drink other shit then go ahead and bring whatever, but it would be better if you brought liquor, mixers, red bull, etc since we will have that keg.

So, all the food is on the house. The only reason we are charging is because we are getting that playpen thing which is expensive, but will be worth it, so we just wanna be able to defray some of the food and beer costs!

(cough cough) i feel a little bit of a cold comin on. i dont know if i will be able to go to work tomorrow. I wasnt sure if i was gonna be comin. it is 14 hours of driving and i have a rule that if im gonna be traveling more than im gonna be partying its not worth it.

however, i got a call from the "mystery guest" last night, and I think im gonna have to make an exception to my rule. Please understand that i am doing everything in my power to make it up tomorrow.

the problem is that i had the last 3 days off of work. i worked today, and i have sunday off for the FL BBQ. so that is one day of work out of six. that might be a little excessive.

i dont know. im workin on it. ill post a final answer later tonight after i talk to greg and cyn.

Well, obviously I'll be there. Pretty sure the FLTA's Hope, Jeff, and Matt will not be in attendance. Very sad!! But glad to see the RSVP's from everybody else!! Way to go Sara with sticking it out and being the only FLTA to show!!! Look forward to seeing you.
