Anyone going to see Zabiela @ system may 7? I can't wait, everything i've heard from this guys is nuts!!! Plus it'd be worth it to see all the live sampling and drum loops that i've heard so much about, especially on system's new sound system.

I saw Zabiela last summer at Labour of Love. He was so incredible I didn't even notice the Guv crowd. I can safely say everyone was exalted by his performance. the sound of trains going 'choo choo' don't everyone insane, IT WAS SICK!!!!!

Anyone is nuts to miss this, especially since he'll be playing System.

So there with my crew.

I am coming up for this! Toronto is like 6 hrs. from where I live but Zabiela is totally worth it. I saw him and Lee Burridge do a tagging set in Miami and it was absolutely amazing! Okay, I need some info. from you guys. I have never been to Toronto or System Sound Bar. How much is it going to cost to get in and what is the dress code like there? I went to their web page today and couldn't get any info out of it. Do you guys know who else is spinning there that night? Do you guys know of any good hotels near the club? Your help is much appreciated! Thanks!

The dress code @ System is pretty much non-existant.

Cover will probably be 20-25 CDN @ the door...you can get g-list from a dude that posts on here E2EKEIL (sp?)

James will be spinning with Luke Fair!

ps. oooooooooo u got to see him with Burridge @ Nerve LUCKY U, I left that same day but I got to see him on the Saturday @ Delta Heavy and he was FACKING AWESOME!!!

cant wait for the 7th!

I also caught a little bit of him at Labour of Love and he was sick. I have also heard his recent Essential Mix...I'm so there for his set. I strongly suggest you attend this event. You will be blown away by the live stuff he does.

Yea, it's raised, but you can still get a great view of a DJ from the side seating area, or through the glass pane that is behind the DJ booth. If you've been to Aria, then you know what i mean.

I did catch like 5 mins of Zabiela's set at labor of love last summer... for some moronic reason i didn't stay in the Guv (probably was way too packed).

Hey Lara,

E-mail John Tang aka E2EK1EL at [email protected] for guest list. That's where I go when I want guest list for places like System Soundbar or Guvernment special events Like Special K said, System has no dress code per say and anything goes. It's a great place with a great vibe and I'm sure we'll have an awesome night!!!!!! As for hotels, depends on how much you want to spend and all that. Did you check out www.toronto.com?

Zabiela === twisted funked up breaky tek-hauz

But he really does play a bit of everything. Kinda like an amalgamation of sounds.

i only asked cause well holden is a genious too, so wouldn't mind it either way :P

The line up for system in May is effin' incredible. Well two serious shows I'm waiting for anyways... Zabiela on the 7th and Holden makes his return on the 28th.... Now that is a serious start to a sick ass summer of wicked parties.

Zabiela's last essential mix was amazing. If you haven't checked out his disc: Sound in Motion, try to find it.. it's wicked!!!

Once again... cannot wait for this event!!!

I will be at System for this one FOR SURE. Completely blew me away when he followed Sasha @ The Guv last year. A place like System should make for an amazing vibe, and an up close and personal set from a musical genious!

Thanks for all of your help guys! I can't wait for this event... only 2 weeks away. I am actually taking my last final on the 7th so this will be a great way to celebrate the beginning of my summer. It seems like a lot of us TA's will be there. We should have a TA meet up or something.
