Gielen - $5000 us or so
Corsten - 7 - $10000 us or so
Tiesto - around $20 000 us
PvD - around $25 000 us
Marco V - $5000-10000us
Just ball park figures from what I have heard from promoters, more the hype that dj has, more the $$$, obviously

random examples from my books:
Judge Jules is in the region of 5k+ a big bucket of vodka+cranberry juice+a bottle of champagne (depending on which nite)
Trevor Nelson is 10k
EZ is about a grand
dave pearce you are looking at about 4k (again depending on night)
lisa lashes is a few grand from memory
Prices will vary widely depending on who you book through, etc

Originally posted by Nemesis44 A lot depends on the venue and the amount of travel involved too. Sometimes deals can be worked out if they get another gig that's not too far away. I know Jules does this as he did that when he played at one of the clubs I play at. Matt Hardwick is also a good option, works very well with the promo side of things as although people may not know who he is, they do know what Gatecrasher is.

Originally posted by dukes are travel and acomadation involved in the cost or are they separate? what about getting them flights and somewhere to stay do i have to do this or will they? i would have thought hardwich would cost a mint! probly any dj above 3000 - 4000 is pushing it up here and any at that price would be rare one offs. another problem is that they do need to be relatively known. anyone know the cost for groove armada?
I know Steve Lawler asked $20,000AU a few weeks ago. Cockhead.
AUD20k...was that the same amount they paid jan der vos a.k.a. 4 strings to play in perth ??
Todd terry has been booked at one of the venues i work at in a few weekends time (by a private established promoter)
he is playing exclusive to them in the uk on this visit, and they are flying him over especially.
Cost is in the region of 20k for flights hotels and fee
When you consider the venue can hold about 2000 people, and tickets are about 20 a pop, and it will sell out....not a bad profit.
Same with Eric morillo a few weeks back
Big names do cost yes- but they are almost always going to sell out and draw the crowd

I've got some connections with some pretty damn good DJ's here in Toronto. I know that would push the costs up somewhat (airfare, etc), but if you're interested, PM me. I cna easily put you in touch with Deko-Ze (plays a bit of everything, always hard, funky, and he's a riot behind the decks), Dr Trance (mostly prog/melodic trance), some psytrance guys, a live PA (Aponaut), a few others.

Originally posted by Nemesis44 Hey Prod, not too sure yet... was still a bit up in the air. But I know the flight destination is Chicago area so my guess is that if it's not in Chicago then somewhere in Illinois. Also leaves me a little freaked as to be honest, not sure what the scene is like there. I know it's november time... watch this space is all I can say. Cheers Nem
