Misjah Melsloot @ Chemistry, Adelaide review
Well what can i say, a great night had by all. I went into the night not really knowing what to expect from Misja, but this man is the BEST trance DJ i have ever seen, in terms of technical skills. He is a far better DJ than PVD, AVB, Tiesto etc, he is the BEST!
There was hardly a time in his set where he wasn't mixing something in over the top of the other song, or adding samples here and there, this man was an absolute pleasure to watch. Buildups he would mae twice as big by samping in other buildups over the top of the existing buildup, incredible precision and skill. We spoke to him after the show, he has been DJing now for 12 years, and it shows.
Not only that, he a great guy to talk to, lots of fun. He bought us all a Heineken, what a champ! And he played Blueberry just for me, he said he felt bad playing it cos he downloaded it.
Anyway tracks i can remember:
01 - Abel Ramos - Aquarius (randy katana remix)
02 - Probspot - Blueberry
03 - The Shove Brothers - Paranoia (dj danjo & rob styles remix)
Then is no particular order (i can't remember too well):
Tiesto feat. BT - Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Remix)
Marco V - Loops and things/simulated/godd
Tiesto - Traffic (max walder remix)
Vascotia - Calibro (sonic vibe remix)
Witness of wonder Emotions in motion (thrillseekers mix)
Mike Koglin vs DJ Uto - Yoake
Cohen vs Deluxe - Just kick (Carl Cox remix)
What a great night!
sounds awwwwwsome!, i would of loved to have seen him play in sydney, except of course i was busy wearing the trucker hat at 360!
great to hear Misja shone in Adelaide aswell. i think this tour for him has been quite successful.

yes.
not a misjah or helsloot in sight.
i was bitterly disappointed to hear this.
especially after the quality of mix
and the fact he played Aquarius (Randy Katana Remix)

Hence why there is only half the songs there.
Totally agree with Stampy here, Misja was unbelievable. Easily the best set ive seen in a few years. I hate to say it, but he was far better than Tiesto was when he was here. Misja's programming was exceptional and his mixing absolutely flawless, i actually cant remember a set like this where i didnt hear a single beat drop off, and i was straight for once also.
Top work Misja. Next time we'll try and get you to play at Echo, where you will have a better crowd and atmosphere, and be appreciated a bit more.
