First of all...definie success. In my eyes or the eyes of the world?
Literally the shortest? The lottery...but it would depend on the amount of money that I won. Winning a samll amount would accomplish nothing after taxes. Robbing a bank is stupid and it wouldn't make you successful...regardless of what you did with the money. It would be too risky and would require planning. An inheritance would depend upon what age I would inherit the money and then go through the legal aspects of obtaining it. Who had to die for me to get that money? Possibly could be too painful. Still wouldn't make me successful unless I inherited a business and worked my ass off making sure that it remained profitable or if I inherited money and invested it. Working my ass off is what I have been doing for years and I'm damn sure not rich. It could happen and the end result would be more gratifying, but who wants to work over 3/4 of your life for someone else? It's definitely possible that I could own my own business, but I would need money first. I would rather come into money and then build upon it. I honestly wouldn't want to screw someone over to get money (rob a bank) and I wouldn't want someone to die either (inheritance). I guess I would work if it was something that I enjoyed and knew would bring me financial stability. If not...give me the lottery...it's legal, quick, and no one had to die for me to win.

Hmmm..seems we forgot the last option; laying your supervisor/manager/ruling authority.

Good idea but most likely can't do it alone. Takes time to plan with other people.
Hitting the Lotto?
Could do it in one shot; could take a million tries. I don't feel that lucky.
Getting Inheritance?
Gotta wait for someone to die.
I've got Photoshop and a printer. A decent counterfeiting scheme could be good. Just print out twenties and use them to buy cheap stuff like fast food and movie tickets. If their busy, the pimple faced cashiers will be working too fast to notice. Then I get 10 to 15 bucks in free change.
First of all I BELIEVE THAT you cannot measure material to success. But if you were to do so I would think that anyone who tries to get rich quick usually fails - so I go with working for it - IT FEELS better that way for me :-)
