female vocals

eh, is that the correct forum section ? whateva.

the following three imho are head and shoulders above the competition (10/10):

Christina Aguileara
Jewel
Amy Lee (from Evanescence)

but i'd like to hear your opinions just in case there is somebody out there i never heard ?

and you bigot folks, dont give me any sh1t about those three just because they appear on MTV from time to time, because i hate MTV, i have two MTV channels and never watch them. but i don't discriminate, if its good its good. i don't need you telling me what's *IN* and what's not, i already know that. i understand you are eager to tell me you would never listen to crap like Aguilera - but please stfu anyway.

wtf, Evanescence - Hello (Trifactor vs Gabriel and Dresden mix has amy lee on vox.

and in that list you are agreeing with it has sarah mclachlan, how is she different than amy lee or jewel?

the trance part of it has a hell of a lot to do with the producer, quality of vocals is on the singer. So I would never rule out any singer with a good voice.

Yeah, those singes may be good, but mostly unrelated to Trance. (Except for some trance remakes of Evanescence songs)

Singers like Marcella Woods, Justine Suissa, Jan Johnston, Lesley Hendriks are, and do a damn good job at it

You DO realize that the vocals don't fit the track into a specific genre, right? You DO know that the isntrumentals are the deciding factor when placing compositions into genres, right? You DO realize that G&D have used vocals from Amy Lee and Jewel, right?
