King Eli Manning!

WE'VE

GOT

ELI

CLAP

CLAP

CLAP CLAP CLAP

Well we only have him because he doesnt want to play for San Diego. Smart move on his part, under Marty's coaching strat's he wont be seeing alot of him. Marty is 70% rush, 30% pass, even with the receiving talent they have.

shut up vlad , geez.

Posted by Vlad on Apr-25-2004 00:58:

Yes I know... I have useless knowledge of just about everything.

Posted by trunks1022 on Apr-25-2004 04:49:

sorry but we gave up way too much for eli...

Heres the thing with the trade. If Eli does as good as he is supposed to, the Giants wont need Collins anymore and they could trade him away for something decent to fill up some gaps in their team, maybe even a first round draft pick. Heres the thing, the Giants are being very optimistic with this trade and are hoping to make the playoffs and not have to worry about loosing 3 draft picks. Also, after this draft, the NCAA isnt left with much. This draft basically sucked out alot of the talent from the NCAA. So if you think about it, instead of drafting 3 players your gonna end up cutting in 2005, you get 1 that has a infinite amount of potential.

Either way, with the Patroits getting Corey Dillion in the offseason, I dont see how any team can stop them. Teams had a hard enough time dealing with Brady and the passing game, they had an even harder time dealing with the incredible defense. Now that they have a big running game, guaranteed to get 1,000 yards rushing, this team almost looks invincible.

vlad....

this is why i am so glad that baseball does not allow the trading of draft picks. at this point in time, the mets would've traded away the next 4 years 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pics!

but as for manning, it's pretty awesome. the giants actually havea franchise QB now. didnt hear many people outside of NY/NJ saying 'wow man, kerry collins is awesome!' but now you'll hear eli's name just as much as peyton's name. but i dont care about football so it doesnt matter

Dude, Eli Manning is such a whining biatch, he should have been happy just being drafted but now he has to cry to get on the team of his choice. Ask any professional sports athlete and most of them would tell you that there just happy to be in the league of choice. I know the Chargers blow but look at Peyton when he came in, the Colts weren't anything special. Oh well that's ok because Jevon Kearse is going to take his head off when the Eagles drop those lame ass Giants once again. Poor NY, oh and one more thing congrats to Pedro and the Sox, haha.

heh sorry, typical philly fan. whining bitch = terrell owens. doesn't want to play for the ravens, so he bitches and whines to play with the eagles oh and that first round pick of the eagles looked pretty ginormous too

Eli Is going to be great for the Giants.Kerry Collins had his chance in the Super Bowl and obviously isn't considered the future by Tom Coughlin.

But honestly I dont care about anything other than my patriots who just got richer with their picks.

Yeah dude the Pats really did good this offseason, also the Lions are really going to have a better offense if everything pans out the way they want. I agree TO bitched to Jeff Garcia but I don't think he'd have the balls to do it to McNabb.

Im not happy that the Patriots Lost Damien Woody on the Offensive Line.Russ Hochstein replaced him well in the playoffs and at times during the regular season but I wish we would have kept DW.The loss of Ted Washington isn't a big deal considering we got Keith Traylor from the bears and now drafted this lineman out of miami(another beast). The biggest part of the off season moves for the Pats was getting Corey Dillon cheap (a 2nd round pick)so that they would not have to spend a draft pick on a back. This will ease the pressure that brady will face as teams can expect a more balanced attack and thus make the patriots offense which struggled at times mightily running the ball with that mix of Kevin Faulk/Antwan Smith.Ty Law has complained about his contract status but isnt going newhere soon and our defense should be very strong with the return of 2003 premier free agent signing Roosevelt Colvin. He will provide a speedy pass rusher on the outside again making another lethal pats defense.

Pats could very well repeat this year as they already have gotten stronger on offense and have no glaring holes.

In Brady we trust.

u misread. if u're gonna say eli bitches about where he's playing, u should look at TO too. not talking about him bitching about jeff garcia

It doesnt matter, the Pats are gonna win it again. Their D didnt change, and they picked up a MAJOR player to fill a MAJOR hole... Corey Dillon.

Posted by GUBostonDubs on Apr-26-2004 23:17:

True

I just want to see a full season out of Roosevelt Colvin. He was very fun to watch on the Bears and is a very gifted player

both of them are whiny bitches. im a whinyy bitch too cuz the ravens couldnt slam the deal with TO. i kinda have a feeling that if he was a free agent to begin with, he would have had a chance to be with the ravens, btu but since he was traded and none of it was under his conditions, he bitched about it.

yea, probably will. but if the ravens pick up jimmy smith from the jaguars, hopefully, they will contend. their D is just as good as the pats.
