ATB is a thief!!!!!!!!!!

Someone pointed out and I will confirm the following

Atb's Remember is a ripoff, blatant josh winkesque stealing (yes wink is a dirty thief) but this is beyond a ripoff. Remember steals the riff from Scorchio, such an amazing tune that scorchio was but ATB should be shot for this. I wonder if Sasha's lawyers ever found out about this. It is too blatantly a ripoff.....please atb....get your own ideas.

first you ruined your not alone and now this..sighs

Actually the orignial You're Not Alone sorta sucked ass... ATB reproduced it to somthing worth while and dancy. But for the original song of Wrong To Let You Go by The Wild Strawberrys was actually pretty nice. And ATB done a perfect reproduction of it.

Have you heard of the word PERMISSION? look it up in the oxford dictionary. fool. ATB probably had PERMISSION to reproduce it just like he did with the these 2 other songs. Sasha and ATB are very good friends with each other, hence they probably wanted to see what they could come up with both of their ideas.

Why don't you go over to ATB's forum and ask him urself, i'm sure he'll explain to you.

Thats it , every one samples & it does not make the person a 'rip off' if he/she does...

Yes it does if he/she does not give the credit where credit is due.

Nrg2nfinit made a thread some time ago about tracks that sound like other tracks. there are loads of "rip offs" out there, some in my opinion im glad got ripped off cause i think the rip offs were much better than the origionals... ie armin blue fear and picotto like this like that (picottos version was WAAAAY better than armins production.) or benny benassi love is gonna save us and alphazone - stay. mind you stay was a better track...

You're a fucking newb too, and you can't even structure sentances properly. Stop flaming him pointlessly unless you've actually got something to put forward yourself.

I guess we can count William Orbit, PVD and Tiesto as thieves.
Fatboy Slim? Armin?

"sentences"

No, because they actually do credit all the sources they sample from.

i do enjoy ATBs music so i'll probably get the album soon. Maybe i can check the inside sleeve and see if there is credit where its due. (a long long time ago) i bought the Chemical Brothers "Dig you own Hole" album and the inside sleeve had all credits where it was due.
I mean, how many people know that Fire/Ice's Souvenir de Chine was a take off Jean Michel Jarre's tune? (brilliant song btw) I'm sure somewhere on the vinyl cover is a lil credit in text size 10.

many people know that, and you know why? because the fucking songtitle is the exact same as the original

This whole thread has made me laugh, so far. It's a three-ring circus of newbies and big-mouthed morons.

I wish I had a suitable macro to use.

Posted by capricorn15 on Apr-25-2004 17:49:

Posted by refuge on Apr-25-2004 19:41:

Like someone stated earlier: ATB and Sasha are friends .. I'm sure

he'll give him credit for sampling "Scorchio."
