would you buy a ticket?
to an event where headliners including Armin, Gabriel & Dresdon, Cosmic Gate etc performed but not like your usual rave, but instead its like going to an opera or theater where you just sit down and appriciate the music being played?
reason i thought of this is because many people, including myself, love electronic music but dont appriciate the over-crowded enviroment and other annoyences raves produce.
- weird thought for the day -
lol
4/4 without the dancing
if they were performing the songs live (ie, not just off records/cd-rs), i'd be able to apreciate listening to the music without dancing. otherwise it'd be quite lame.
either way.. its still wierd since it contradicts the reason why this type of music was created.
well there isnt actually any reason why this music was created, its what you make of it, i mean you can still enjoy without having to dance. And yes they would definetly be playing live, not just inserting a cd lol.
Well, the DJs probably wouldn't play entirely dance music. I would guess that they'd think, "Hey, no dancing, this is my chance to play all that crazy and awesome, but undanceable, stuff I have lying around." It would be a chance to see what DJs can do if their sole motivation isn't just making people dance. I'd like to hear them go into new genres. But I guess that wasn't exactly what you had intended.
My guess is that if they were playing dance music, but there were chairs everywhere; people would start dancing on the chairs, in the isles, everywhere there's space. Which would also be pretty interesting.
So yeah, I'd probably go.
