Undisputed queen of electronic music vocals?
Which lucky lady do you consider to be the undisputed champion of
electronic music vocals? My vote goes out to Hawkshaw, Kirsty
Hawkshaw.
undisputed.... on TA?
hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah *breathe* hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahah good one chappie
I mahzwell say it now cuz about 38298420 other people are gonna do it if not (prob still will too).
SEARCH BUTTON
Anyways....to contribute to the thread, Sarah McLachlan. Anyone who begs to differ is obviously a nazi.
Yeah this thread has the potential for massive flames if you use such modifiers as "undisputed."
I'd have to go with Jan Johnston though due to the sheer amount of stuff she's done...and her voice isn't too shabby either. My scrollbar thingie was noticeably smaller on Jan's discography than it was on Kirsty's

Sarah McLachlan doesn't apply foo, I said ELECTRONIC MUSIC,
not non-electronic music vocalists being remixed by electronic music
artists.

Roberta Carter-Harrison from The Wild Strawberries is also pretty
good IMO, too.

Sarah Mclachlan gets remixed and her vocals are used in a song..i consider it to be EDM then and it qualifies.
Nathalie de Borah - Back to You
Lasgo - Surrender (Vervloet Remix)
Kira - I'll Be Your Angel
Nayer - First Kiss
Erika - I Don't Know
Here's five I'd put in the electronic category. I like Kirsty Hawkshaw just as well! Electronic/bubblegum/dance can be good!

Kirsty Hawkshaw - Fine Day
Sarah for me too. And, in second, maybe Birgit Schuurman *runs to put on flame suit*

Personally, I love Justine Suissa's voice. But if we're looking at it objectively, I'd say Jan Johnston.
Jan Johnston gets my vote as well.. even though she's been slacking off a bit lately.
I still
her vocals in Mercury & Solace and Calling Your Name.
well since this is EDM, I'll go with some more female vocalists
Naimee Coleman
Barbara Tucker

Keep on smoking, buddy.
Meh, I like that song. Would like to see it released.
And I find Birgit attractive. So, my 2nd place
Female trance Vocalists
Hello and I hope my first post finds you all in good health and good spirits. I admit to being a recent convert to electronic music so take my opinion with a grain of salt(and perhaps a shot of tequila and lemon as well
). From what I have heard, definitely Jan Johnston as well as Moya Brennan. I'm sure a lot of you are aware with her through her vocals on the Chichane collaboration "Saltwater". If this is your only familiarity with her, may I strongly recommend listening to the cafe Del Mar song(?) of Faithless with Chicane? From what I have heard this is the definitive female trance vocal piece. Also, outside of her and Jan Johnston, the chick that sings on the Rob Evans disc #1 deserves honourable mention, that is all.....enjoy
i can't pick between kirsty hawkshaw, sarah mclaughlan and jan johnston
