Tiesto - Vancouver - June 9

As a huge Tiesto fan, this is actually the best news I've read on tranceaddict since I started coming to this board. I decided we might as well start our own local thread, so here it is.

I'm hugely stoked about this event. I've never been to a live set, but aside from Magik 7 I own about everything with the guy's name on it. How do his current live sets compare with his albums? I'm assuming it will be a bit like his "Nyana", or is it completely different?

It doesn't matter because I am so there!

You can't expect anything really, last year he played @ The Commodore he started off with progressive trance then went on and it picked up and even dropped some techno at the end!! Tiesto - Obsession (Frank Biazzi Mix), Max Walder - Crown

last year

i know last year they were available on ticketmaster but im not too sure whats going on this year...i would like to know when they r going on sale though

I wouldn't expect his set to be too much like Nyana. He is promoting a new artist album, so I would expect tracks from his new album "Just Be". I imagine that he will be playing a harder set, hope he plays Ton TB- Dream Machine

After having the time of my life the last three times tiesto has come to town I can't wait.
My heart is pumping just thinking about it.

Is this confirmed by Black Hole or Primetime Management? Looking at Mark Norman's website, he is booked in the Netherlands and UK for most of the weekends in June. I know they are supposed to tour with Tiesto in Europe for the 'Just Be' release parties. Didnt think they would go all out tho and send em to North America!

he very well could be in the UK on the weekend, the show is in the middle of the week!

True, but, Tiesto has tour dates booked in the US on the same days that Mark Norman is elsewhere:

Hate to burst anyones bubble, but I really doubt this a true rumor. Wish it was true.

I hope they get some better lighting and a laser this year too. And it would be nice if the dancers weren't there. They got in the way of quite a few of my pics.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the dancers, go to pretty much any club in Europe believe me it's much worse cuzz they barely have any clothes on! You're just not used to it...

Please tel me this is not a rumor. I can't wait to se Tiesto again. I've seen him a number of times now, and I have to say, the last time he played at the Commodore, he was good... at best. Nothing blew me away like the previous years I've seen him, but he always puts on a great show, and vibe is AWESOME.

Hope we get some more info on this, I'm already counting down the days

Well, the only thing I know for sure that is confirmed is that he will be at the Commodore on June 9th. I talked to Tiesto's booking agent and he says that the promoter will be Benson & Hedges like last year. So I guess that means gold club series will be the promoter. And, thats good in a way because having some money behind the show will help keep the ticket prices down (I hope). Also, Tiesto's 3 Vinyl Limited Edition Album Sampler will be out may 17th in Holland. It will have 6 tracks from Just Be! Including Nyana and Barber's Adagio for Strings (Tiesto Remix).

is it 19+ ?

this would be a must see event.. My buddy lost my fake I.D.. 19th bday is in July... ill be heading down if i get id for sure ...

ya i had one.. i was playing jr hockey and i gave it to a guy on my team.. he got it take away at the door cause it wasnt him.. oh well i got it for free.. now i need a new one!
