Newb looking for non-progressive golden age(1999?) hits

I just saw a thread that identifies trance's golden age as the tiem around 1999. All I know is that I agree with the people who say that the modern progressive stuff all sounds the same. So, what tracks from trance's golden age are good?

modern progressive stuff does not all sound the same, but anyone can say what they want
golden age stuff, check out the follow cds i guess

tranceglobalnation 2
paul oakenfold - tranceport
dj tiesto - magik series
atb - clubbers guide to trance
those have pretty good stuff on em
