Well I figured Porky was right and we should split the Tiesto thread into a Van and an Edm one. And yes Pork, I think a meetup could be cool at the Tiesto show. But we do have a month and a bit to plan something.

I guess you can see by the title:

Tuesday - June 8th at Escape Ultra Lounge!

No info for tix yet as this is pretty new info. Will post when I receive more or when the promoters just want to announce it officially on here too.

Umm I rarely post on there anymore... once in awhile. Usually go on there just to see what's goin on in the city.

Awwwww yeah, this'll be my first time seeing Tiesto. He better not disappoint like he apparently has sometimes in the past. Although I didn't think "Just Be" was godly, I still can't wait til he comes. Hope he plays Nyana or Walkin On Clouds, I sorta liked those

Tiesto was AWESOME last year and I can't wait for his show June 8...it's going to be intense! I hope to meet some of you at the show. I'll be with Porky (aka Chris)...so if you track him down, I'll be there.

I'm very curious to hear what he will play as I haven't heard a live set from him in a LONG time... wasn't a big fan of Just Be except for Traffic and Adagio.

haha i know. it seemed like ferry corsten sold pretty slowly for some reason, even though they predicted a quick sellout, so i dont think tiesto will sell out real quick. doesnt matter anyway, i'm so paranoid i check allll the time for tickets

I'm on the fence. I went up for the Jules show in April and had a great time. The vibe and crowd was good. I also think Escape is a cool venue but there is no depth to it which could make it interesting if it gets packed. The biggest negative is that it's on a Tuesday. No real way to make it into a few days of partying.

We'll see....I'd so love to hear "Walking On Clouds" live.

I'm actually pretty happy with Escape as a venue, the only exception being that I think it's a bit weird how everyone can walk right up behind the DJs for the big events.

I think it'll be a good night, but I have some doubts that he will be able to eclipse the performance that Ferry Corsten put on.
