summer transfers?

So it's nearly that time of year when the transfers begin. So who would everybody like to see @ their favourite football/soccer teams..

Me being a celtic fan have the following requests:

Lazarides from birmingham
malbranque from fulham
di natale from empoli..

and a couple of defenders, maybe Kompany, from anderlecht and ian harte.

kompany is prolly heading to chlski and with cech and robben having already signed they gonna b very very hard to beat for many years to come given the age and potential of these 3

....realistically id like to see united buy from the following list
van der vaart and trabelsi from ajax
joaquin from betis
giuly from monaco
vicente or mista from valencia
solari from madrid
lucio from leverkusen
mancini from roma - if united do show interest in this guy, im sure itl be hard to price him away from roma but given their current financial position ... who knows

Roma are also selling totti in the summer apparently...

It will be interesting to see where he goes because he is in great form at the moment...

i also rate cassano very highly..

totti will prolly land up at madrid or chelsea ... no1 else can afford him

cassano is brilliant but roma will never sell him

well

djibril cisse gets more and more comfirmed each day that goes.

id also like to see this dawnson fellow from nottingham bought and maybe mexes.

maybe a right winger aswell

On the Arsenal front, it looks like they are after another striker and it might be Roben Van Persie from Feyenoord that might be Wenger's prime target. Hopefully they can also sign a Goal keeper. Lehmann has been good, but he is too eradict! Anti Niemi looks pretty solid, and Arsenal should exhaust efforts to sign.

realistically i dont believe manu is going to by any of those...they had their chance on joaquin and van der vaart before this season + ronaldinho!!! they also let chelski snap robben in front of their nose
but they holding back in their money TOO fuckin much
just imagine what ronaldinho could do in premier league
only thing i know for the next season is that liam miller(from celtic) probably will play for manu
btw... there are romours that keane(to celtic), solskjaer(to celtic) and nistelroy(to real) is "on the move" anyone knows anything about this romours

The Gers already have Boumsong signed to strengthen our (laughable at the moment) defence. With Arteta going we badly need a central midfielder who can take the ball from the defence and make things tick up front. Also a quality striker wouldn't go amiss!

Rumoured players coming to Gers:

John Carew, Joe Cole (I'd take both!)

What about Kezman, is he gonna be leaving PSV in the summer?

Yeah, van Persie seems to be very closely linked with Arsenal now. But with Bergkamp hopefully staying another season and Reyes & Aliadiere coming through I can see van Persie as a wide player if he does sign.

Agreed that we need a new goalie, although Lehmann has kept us in important games at times, he has cost us. He's normally a great shot stopper but too tempramental and some of his decision making is terrible. I think Wenger will try to buy a replacement, but I'm not sure Southampton's Niemi is the asnwer. He's a good keeper, but whether he can do it at the top level or not is not known. Why not bring one of the younger keepers through: when fit Taylor has never let us down and Stack has done well when played this year. Both have the potential to be future England keepers.

For Tottenham-

Van Bommel from PSV - Would make such a difference, give us the anchor we need in midfield.

Robinson from Leeds - We have Keller at the moment, says it all

A LB and a CB. I've never liked Taricco and King nd Gardner aren't quite experienced enough yet to both as starters (and King is being played in midfield.

We also need a creative player in midfield to give the strikers the servive they've lacked this season. We've been linked with Diego who would give us that and is also one for the future.

Rick Parry has said Liverpool gonna spend 30M in the summer...

Think this will be 12M on Cisse, 7M on Mexes, 8M Shaun Wright Phillips and the rest on unknown French upcoming wannabes!

Oh 2M for a new manager would also be money well spent!!

actualy they would be priceless. Berlusconi rejected ofers of well in excess of 80 mill for sheva and basicly said "no milan player is for sale at any price". Berlusconi has a huge say in the incomings and outgoings of players these days. lets hope he ok's the purchase of mutu

eh those 30m are a roumer therefor theres no point in thinking we got that much to spend.

we might get that if we qualify for cl

Oh yes, ure right sorry.. heres the article i read though just in case ure interested

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has promised that The Reds will be making moves to get back on a par with the top three this summer.
The indication now is that the Anfield giants could spend more than 30 million - in a bid to get back on terms with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Liverpool are locked in the fight for fourth place, but they are facing a battle which may see them even fail to qualify for Europe altogether.

"We will do everything we can to get to the top again - that's where we all want to be," said Parry.

"Getting there is the tricky bit. Chelsea's millions have moved the goalposts somewhat.

"But we still have our targets. It will take lots of effort to get there and I promise there will be plenty of that."

also we been linked with joey barton from man city today...
much prefer wright phillips though, i think..
