Would you rather...

No rules about sex on either island.

1) Live under the rule of a cruel dictator where all the females/males (whatever you're attracted to) were incredibly hot. The dictator puts into play all political ideals you stand against.

OR

2) Live under the rule of whatever form of government you think is best, with the person/people you think as best in power(not yourself though), except all the people of the sex you're attracted to are horribly ugly? The government puts into play all the political ideals you stand for.

It's Id vs. Ego

as long as the cruel dictator never said we couldn't have sex all the time anytime we wanted....and those hot girls aren't stuck up or like the 99.999999999999999% of girls now that hate me.......id go there.



but if one of those doesn't work out, im in the other one.

Even if the person you'd like to be in power actually is, things will not be 100% the way you'd like it to be, but he/she is only the most compatible one.

So I'd go with the first one, because politically there is not a very big difference, and physically.....well....there is

Nonono politically there's a huge difference - there are no rules for the sex on either place, but on the first place the political realm would be everything you dislike, whereas on the second one the politics would be everything you like....maybe I should edit the original post

I thought the ego regulated whether the superego's or the id's decision was played out.

Well right, according to the classical Freudian view. I, however, choose to believe that you listen to whichever one you want to listen to, and I think most people not trained in freudian psychology would think that way too. The Id & ego terms are just there really to provide some sort of reference if people didn't get it.

lol what a generealisation of the Oedipus and Electra complex! That theory has also been hypothesised as a way to how children think, and can influence their sexuality. I think it was that if the Oedipus (male) complex was NOT resolved, then the child could become gay.

I'd go on the island with the hot girls and the totalitarian dictatorship. And whenever the girls pissed me off, I'd tell the dictator that they were trying to start a rebellion and have them imprisoned or killed on the spot.
