Romania got their image back by beating Germany with 5:1 hehe

well this is definately not for euro 2004 qualification cause they're already out of that.

so what's it for??

i am not trying to excuse them, they should win or try winning all of their games... but knowing how they are, they don't even bother with exhibition games (which is stupid).

Let's stop making excuses for Germany. The fact and the matter is that Romania has a very talented team and they played a way better game than Germany...

Back in the day, I did like Romania when I wasn't rooting for the Germans though, to be honest...Hagi was the shit for a while.

Romania DID use subs!!! Mutu and Chivu, our best players didn't play, and also a couple of other players injured. So, for your info, many players are from our national league, and also all the goals we're their first in the national team. 80% of our players have 3-4 games for Romania...

Hagi was the shit, now it isn't, that's why this victory is important. We have a new team, with new and very young players and with no real team leader right now.

And, do not forget that in Euro 2000 was 1-1, but everyone said Romania should won the game, because played better than Germans.

we won, that's all that matters. yes, it was a friendly, but we still played pretty damn well. as for the last world cup, we deserved to qualify, not friggin slovenia that took our sopt (still can't get over it) and didn't even manage a goal in their matches. we would have done better. but alas, that is life, and we have the next world cup to get into.
