Echo -- Resident Trancemissions@Soda Fri 14th May

(((echo - resident trancemissons)))
echo in conjunction with soda room's 'absolut fridays' brings you the next instalment of their monthly-esque nights dedicated to all things trance.

this time it's a local affair!

after the huge success of the launch of echo (including alot of positive feedback from the free cds) where melbourne local & 5AM resident, steve strangis tore the roof off with his blend of driving & uplifting trance.. this time we have our very own DJ Solace stepping up for a peaktime set of trance bliss...

if you've heard his cds, or have witnessed his previous sets you know that this will be a corker!

i'm also pleased to announce that rise resident Agent Smith is now on board ready to deliver his own sound to the echo crowds.

all this and more including another of simple psymans blistering closing sets!!

the date for this one is

friday 14th may
entry is just $6 or $4 for members

matt parker, dj solace, agent smith, simple psyman, dr damage, atb, L8's and justice

GellyPuff if you come on Sat or next fri for Echo ill have a few cds for ya.

But it would be good to see my fellow trance addicts at Magic Devotion aswell.

On another note i somehow managed to make the finals of the Trancetribe dj comp, go figure. And ive actually decided to go over to Sydney for the event for a massive adventure.

Posted by DJ SOLACE on May-07-2004 10:35:

Anyone wanna come with me for a roadtrip

Posted by Audio Beverage on May-07-2004 10:50:

hmm, well $20 is a bit steep for me right now @ le rox Mainly coz I just spent $330 today fixing my fucking car Although it seemes as if lady luck suddenly swung my way just a few hours ago as I came across a fairly substantial portion of marijuana dropped by some idtiot on the ground at my local BP service station

ahhh, it's like an accrued revenue. I'm recognizing cash before it is even receivedbwhahahah!

I'll go. But only if we're allowed to pick up some sexy swedish hitch hikers on the way

Under AASB and IAC standards this would actually be classified as an asset:
"Likely to be of future economic benefit and controlled by the entity (meaning you)"

Obviously someone hasnt studied accounting before.

Heathy congrats on making the finals, when are you going over there? The person to suck up to here is WEBMESITER, as hes one of the judges of the comp. he is on these boards lots and is the AU moderator, so be nice to him.

Also still dunno about Magic Devotion, only about a 30% chance of me being there now. Sorry Heath.

Oh well that's a quiet board generalistion for the term "assest". By using that defintion, you're implying that all assests are "likely to be of future economic benefit and contolled by the entinty", when quiet clearly, accumulated depreciation(a contra assest)is controlled by other factors including the assests histrorical cost, salvagable cost, and it's expected usefull life(that is of course if the straight line method of deprecition is implemented)

Postcount: ++1

Posted by gumble on May-07-2004 13:38:

heath mate, your achievements here in adelaide far out weigh any credibility from a trance tribe event.

good luck anyway

Posted by gumble on May-07-2004 13:49:

GTR?

hmm, may have missed the old mark there pulsefusion

Accumulated depreciation is not an asset in the traditional sense, rather it is an account that alters the carrying value of an existing asset. Therefore accumulated depreciation cannot be classified as an asset. And salvagable cost?!? Now you're just making accounts up!
