movie buffer prob

ok i try explain thisd
when i on a site and u open a movie link it will open in a window and the movie will load bit by bit of the clip till it is finished then to save it i just got the file out of my temp folders etc
but now it buffers the videos so i can move to anypart of the vid but it doesnt load it so i cannot save it now only watch the streams.
anyway does anyone know how to change this back/forth from on mode to the other so i can save these thx

just right click and save the link...this will save the movie directly to your hd....
