Is 'Godskitchen' offensive/blasphemous?

The other day I mentioned that I was listening to 'Armin Van Buuren vs. Ferry Corsten - Live @ Godskitchen (16.03.2003)' and this person took offense to this. I just wanted to know if anyone else shares the same view as this person does.

For those of you who do not know what 'blasphemy' means:
- A contemptuous or profane act, utterance, or writing concerning God or a sacred entity.
- The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.

I don't know how it would be considered to be 'blasphemous'

just by using God.

i think... he/she needs to lighten up.. i really don't think that is offensive

Does anyone know the origin of this name?

(No opinion can be given without this piece of info, even though I don't believe there's any chance of this name being offensive whatsoever)

in what way is it offensive?

I should create a nightclub called 'Jesus's tomb' or something

I dont find this blasphemous in any way, but then again Im pretty much an atheist That set is fkin amazing though, don't think god (who?) can spin that well

Ultra religious peeps should be shot!

i remember reading somewhere ages ago that there was a place called godskitchen somewhere in california or somewhere and i thought back then as a kid that it sounded hella spooky and cool! but i don't get why it should be offensive to anyone!

religion is at the heart of most the serious problems in this world.

Personally I think the name Godskitchen could be a positive thing towards God, and not a negative thing. AND, it has nothing to do with religion and this person needs to spend more time living life and less time in church !!

It may be blasphemous, it may not be. Quite frankly I don't care either way, as I'm not a religious fundamentalist.

Why, that's exactly what I was thinking. Only shooting them might be a bit excessive...better to just shove them all in a large room together with all the guests from Jerry Springer. Then hopefully they would explode of their own accord.

I like to think that if there is a God, and if he did have a kitchen, it would be a cool ass party.

Dosn't bother me
