Suzy Solar & Lil' B

Hey you two! I thought that I would create a thread just for you!

Suzy...it seems like it was just yesterday when we were hanging out and you were talking about becoming a successful trance DJ. You were going to make a name for yourself and tour the world. That was back in 1997 and look where you are today! It seems like it happened without any effort, but it definitely didn't happen without dedication. I miss the days of hanging out with you, Brian, Gemini, Andre, etc...listening to trance. You guys were the pioneers for our little undergorund trance scene here in Tampa. I miss hanging out at house parties and clubs and listening to you guys throw down. I am very proud of you and your accomplishments. Girl...you did it! I love how when you are in town you take the time to come out and show your support for Paul and other DJ's. I love the unannounced visits. I love how you just showed up that one night when I told you that Paul was going to be spinning at the Amp even though you had to fly out the next morning. Or hell...even the night that you just showed up at Plush to come see us. I love reading your road diary and looking through your pictures. The experiences that you've had and the people that you've met...I can only imagine how incredible this journey has been for you. I love that one of our own is living their dream.

Brian...I just adore you. From the moment that we first met up until today you have been nothing but a sweetheart. Your demeanor has always been consistent...laid back...easy to get along with...genuine. You never fail to greet me with a smile and a hug. Everyone should be so lucky to have a support system like you in their life. You guys deserve all the happiness and success that life has in store for you.

I miss you and I love you both!

Heya Suzy & Brian.

I met you guys at the TA Dinner right before WMC '04 and had a great time talking with you two. Congrats on your success, and keep kicking ass from here to South America, to the world over! You two are COOLNESS.

Hopefully we can all hang out again one day! So sorry we didn't talk at Ferry, but I'm glad you were there to be part of that SICK ASS SET!!! OMG, OWNAGE!!!

And...could you and DA please take it somewhere else? I created this thread for Suzy & Brian...not for you and DA to come and create drama. Hi fellow TAs!! I've had a couple of glasses of wine so I hope I don't forget anything... Amber, thank you so much for making a thread for me and brian. Your words really mean alot to me. I remember, too, back in 97 when we used to hang out at Cosmos and talk about DJing and travelling the world. I want to spread a message to everyone. I want everyone to know that whatever you dream about doing, you can accomplish whatever you put your efforts into. There's always lots to overcome and setbacks to endure but you can always rise above. I overcame great odds to do what I do. Not just being from Tampa, but many other things like having an abusive paranoid schizophrenic mom, overcoming social anxiety disorder, and battling phobias of flying that have plagued me my whole life. Even being on a plane that had an engine catch on fire, or being in the air during the 9/11 attack, still didn't hinder my desire to be a travelling DJ. Everyone has something that stands in the way of success. Look to creatively resolving them so you can live your dream. There's more accomplishments that I'm striving for and I'm working hard every day to make them a reality.

Peeps look out for "Dutch Oven" clothing by me and MsGod! It's a demented twist on club & street wear. (Also, if anyone is going to the International DJ Convention in New Jersey this year, check it out, I've been asked to give a motivational speech there:-))
