DJ Quicksilver - What does everyone think?
I'm listening to DJ Quicksilver's "Clubfiles" album right now, and I have to say that it's a damn good compilation as far as the more tech-sounding style goes. Granted, he's not one of the frontrunners in the world of electronica, but I still enjoy his work. I've also got the recent "New Life" album that he released, which is decent.
Was wondering what others thought about him.
Ameno is the only song that stood out. I used to listen to him back when I was getting into EDM. But these days I dont care for much of his work.
I just love DJ Quicksilver's Belissima! It makes me smile every time I listen to it!

I had made an exact same thread a couple of months ago.
DJ Quicksilver are 2 people. Orhan Terzi and one more guy...I forgot his name. I quite enjoy their work and I've been following their releases from way back in the early nineties till yet. And yes, Clubfiles One has some wikkid tracks.
From their early works, I realy like Cosmophobia. It's soo dark...
i used to be into them when i first got into electronica (with ameno and belissima).. havent heard anything new aside from clubfiles one.. i only heard a bit from it and wasnt too excited about it

I'm not sure of the title but I have a white label (blank) vinyl that has a cheesy remix of "You Were Always on My Mind"... I used to love it, now it's more like... meh.
Quicksilver used to be my fav. One of the DJ's that got me into EDM.
Belissima is one of the bounciest songs I've ever heard.
not my fav, but he's got some good tracks
I remember back in 98/99 I head Time Rider (I think) and thought that was awesome, now I'd probably think its lame

some tracks ... not bad
I still like some DJ Quicksilver productions/remixes from the past and i was a big fan of their works back in the day too. The more recent ones aren't anything special IMO, closer to weak efforts (cheesy too!) actually when compared to some of their older works.
Here's a picked up bunch of my favs by the duo:
Chicane - Sunstroke (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
Dance2Trance - Power Of American Natives '97 (DJ Quicksilver Instrumental) << their greatest work IMO, damn good
Disco Citizens - Footprint (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
DJ Quicksilver - African Rain
DJ Quicksilver - Cosmophobia (R.B. Mix)
DJ Quicksilver - FFM (Do You Remember)
Faithless - Insomnia (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
Usura - Open Your Mind '97 (DJ Quicksilver Remix)
Usura & DJ Quicksilver - Trance Emotions (Emotions Mix)
Watergate - Heart Of Asia (Rising Sun Remix)
Watergate - Terra
