DJ Quicksilver - What does everyone think?

I'm listening to DJ Quicksilver's "Clubfiles" album right now, and I have to say that it's a damn good compilation as far as the more tech-sounding style goes. Granted, he's not one of the frontrunners in the world of electronica, but I still enjoy his work. I've also got the recent "New Life" album that he released, which is decent.

Was wondering what others thought about him.

Ameno is the only song that stood out. I used to listen to him back when I was getting into EDM. But these days I dont care for much of his work.

I had made an exact same thread a couple of months ago.

DJ Quicksilver are 2 people. Orhan Terzi and one more guy...I forgot his name. I quite enjoy their work and I've been following their releases from way back in the early nineties till yet. And yes, Clubfiles One has some wikkid tracks.

From their early works, I realy like Cosmophobia. It's soo dark...

i used to be into them when i first got into electronica (with ameno and belissima).. havent heard anything new aside from clubfiles one.. i only heard a bit from it and wasnt too excited about it

Tommaso de Donatis is the other guy (one of the guys of Watergate, too)

I'm not sure of the title but I have a white label (blank) vinyl that has a cheesy remix of "You Were Always on My Mind"... I used to love it, now it's more like... meh.

I still like some DJ Quicksilver productions/remixes from the past and i was a big fan of their works back in the day too. The more recent ones aren't anything special IMO, closer to weak efforts (cheesy too!) actually when compared to some of their older works.

Yes, the same de Donatis. He has done a million remixes. Some of them are great some are plain awful cheesefests. Notice he has remixed many tracks also behind DJ Quicksilver and as De Donatis.

I can't stand any of the Base Unique remakes of some 80s hits. They're horrible IMO. Btw, it's actually Base Unique - Always On My Mind as Base Unique is a collaboration of the DJ Quicksilver duo and DJ Kadozer (Tobias L�tzenkirchen).

I have only found this track with such name, so may be you're right

as for collaboration of the Quicksilver project with anyone else - I heard nothing..

Have they something noteworthy?
