Trancilvania

Hello TA's!

Have made a new track but don't know, what to think about it.

If somebody want to master, reedit or remix it, let's talk about a collaboration.
Perhaps some little changes makes this track a bit more worth-listening. Who knows. I don't.

Sounds a bit like a Van Helsing Soundtrack, like driving with a carriage through the Lands of Lord Dracula.

Comments are strongly appreciated.

It is the full Version / 192KHz

Hey m8!

You should raise the kick a bit, it's hard to hear it.
Percussion is original, but to much delay on them i guess, makes it a bit messy. Hats are ok.
I think the intro is a bit too long.
The string pad in the break is ok, gives a mysterious feel indeed.
Do you use EQ? They can surely brighten it all up!
Melody is a bit strange, but the main thing is to equalise and let every instrument be heared. 'Cause the composition and buildup are ok.

Cheers!
-Jay

it's a nice track I think, but when you listen carefully to the percs you can hear that you've used a little too much delay what causes your song to be a little bit messy. Maybe you also could make an outro, because I think than you have a full version

yea kick must pound, important in dance music

i think your perc, need bit of eqing, delay not always messy

pads are nice, scary feel., but the start i didn't like the synth you were playing there also the chords of the riff.

sure is scary yea, good effort on the idea.

hello my english friend

i agree on the kick, could be raised a lot louder

the middle part (the melody) is very well made
the string is dark and reminds me of this dark forest, and also stuff like the movie the mummy, that style, i love it really

the name matches this song 100%
really good, just need to work on beats, and make bass louder, and pretty much just equalizing

really good
keep us updated

Thank you very much for your evaluations.

I have to say, I'm a bit surprised about the positive tendency in your comments.

I just want to do my sister a favor by somehow comleting this track. She likes such dark mysterious vampire sounds and doesn't want to hear only sound snippets. Without her intervention "Trancilvania" would get dusty on my harddisk.

I actually wanna know, if there's still something to save at this one and whether it is worth to spend more time on it. Now I'll really think it over.

@Jay M:
I've really eqed only one or two instruments a bit. Mastering always was my greatest weakness. But I was inspired by you to a new track called "Time" were I managed it for the first time to get cristal clear sounds just by focusing on equalizing. Thank you very much for this.

@DjMorpheus:
I know what you mean. Those distorted and messy sound. Perhaps this sound was the reason why I lost zest at Trancilvania. I've simply found no way to get a cool sound, but I'll perhaps try it again.

@Massive84:
I knew, that there would be two different meanings about the synth and the notes he plays, one will like them and others (like me) don't. But I've found no better fitting sound for it. Possibly eqing is a way... I'll try.

@Sunquest:

you would say?
Did I promise too much? Is this track still the "funniest shit ever heard of"?
I know, there is much to do. It was just an experiment and I think, it is not the sound to appear somewhere in the club or on radio.
So I'll see, if I can motivate myself to spend some more time on this track.

Meanwhile I'll upload another track of mine: "Frozen evil" for all those, who can't await the update of "Trancilvania"
