Music after clubbing!
Well I want music for listening while driving after a party, at 6 a.m. Last days we went out clubbing, I switched on the radio news when we came back at home!! and it's a bit odd for me cause I always hear techno or trance in my car. But after the party I'm sick, tired of listening banging music and I'm searching EDM artists that spin some good music with less beat. Something with elec., jazz, funk sounds... dunno... surprise me!
p.d. Yeahh I know chill music but I don't like at all, I want something a bit more bangin'... than chill.
Just some popular oldschoolers, that most people enjoy and appreciate.
Filo & Peri seem to have Jazz influences in their music IMO.
check out the chillout series (2001-2004). great post-techno/trance grind music.
I like to listen to gabriel & Dresden sets, especially their essential mix.
Also UNKLE - Do Andriods Dream of Electro Beats is a nice one for post clubbing car journeys, as is Zabiela's Essential Mix in my opinion. DJ Shadow - Pre Emptive Strike i like and Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.
Allough you ruled chillout out, the first Zero 7 and to a lesser extent lemon jelly stuff is ideal too.
put on a digweed mix and let the bass lines drive you home!!
chillout & leftfield cd's are where its at.
the doves album "lost souls" sounds fucked up on a comedown
i love it
i usually switch to the alternative/rock station on the way home so i get out of party mode...
classic rock all the way home after a long night of partying for me...

try stuff on kompakt records, sender and areal.
tunes like
misc - computable life
After a hard clubbing night, for me its always CHICANE to chill down to in the sunrise
Try some stuff w/ guitars or good stuff to drive to. Like Solar Stone - Solarcoaster, Whirlpool - Under The Sun (Solar Stone Remix), etc.
Put on some St. Germain. Boulevard is an especially good album.
The very ambient Airdrawndagger by Sasha is good for chillout sessions.
Nothing beats the sound of silence
and an open window with cool air running through the car
Most of the time my ears are ringing and I can't really pay attention to whats going on around me.
Except for other mates in the car repeatedly saying "ohmygosh WHAT A NIGHT"
Solarstone - Seven Cities
Solarstone - Solar Coaster
Atb - It's A Fine Day
Dj Tiesto And Ferry Corsten - Dreamtime
Benicio - For The Love Of You
Tenth Planet - Walk On Water
Kay Cee - I Feel You
Or just listen to the good classic trance. Which brings back alot of good times.
play filthy ass lock your grandma up techno all morning.
simple
Weekend Players make some really good "soft" EDM. They sound sort of like Sade, who I also recommend.
The Ambient material from Aphex Twin works as well. It's probably not as hard as you want your music to be, however...
I usually have my Van Halen cds at my car and listen to them when I come from clubbing...
And when I get home or some elsewhere I just put on some chill out or downtempo house..

Chicane - Early
Chicane - The Drive Home
Yeah, I would go with the Chicane stuff. But, if you don't mind my shameless self promotion...
