whats up guys, i was reading a booklet on engineering and it had a page that listed a few of some famous engineers and i saw that Robert A. Moog was the creater of synthetic music. Does that mean he's like the father of all electronic music including trance?

He created some of the first Synths eg minimoog etc, that were so big they fit in houses. I would say he pioneerd the first step in creating electronic instruments, such as Roland do today.
