IF u dont go out on a Friday nite....
If you dont go out on a friday or saturday night are u consider a LOSER?
Im not going no wheres tonite im just going to stay home and chill. And play video games (LmaO)
that means i've been a loser for quite some time now. which isn't completely untrue.
If you're studying for school or whatever, no. You'll be the one laughing when you're making tons of money later.
If you truly have nothing to do, then probably.
Considered a loser by whom?
By some people, perhaps, but I'd suggest they aren't the type whose opinions are worth your attention. Going out on Fridays and/or Saturdays is highly overrated. Everything is overcrowded and sometimes more expensive as well. Unless there's a special event of particular interest, I say it's just not worth it.
You sound like you're looking forward to a relaxing night. If you enjoy it, then it's not a waste of time. If you can have just as good a time staying home for free as someone else has going out and dropping a bunch of cash, who's the loser?
MY aSShole friends always calls loser when i dont go out with them on Fridays and saturday nights
i used to never go out because i was living in tampa w/ my dad and i was miserable there with no friends...now i'm back in south florida and i have a great group of friends and boyfriend and we go out to south beach at least twice a month...so if you're not out partying and being seen, then yes, you pretty much are a LOOOSER...
no but seriously, we also like to order pizza and rent movies...tonight we get our new furniture delivered so we'll be fixing up the place...tomorrow i go to the beach and relax and drink beer...come home and take a nap...get up and get ready for south beach, we didn't go last week, so tomorrow night it's OONNN LIKE DONKEY KOOONG

if i dont go out friday or saturday night, i always feel like a loser. i hate the loser feeling. feels like your wasting time off, after working hard for 5 days, then spending your time on your days off doing nothing. its horrible
Lol, if thats the case, Im a looser to the n-th degree.
I guess that I like being a loser then. Going out is overrated most times.

im a hermit......
I think maybe you should consider that you "might" be a loser if you are honestly concerned with the fact that you "might" be a loser if you stay home on a Friday night.

| Originally posted by Jiffy Thanks. You know, as a side note, I'm very concerned by all of these boardmembers that are so obsessed with worrying what everyone else thinks about decisions they make. I mean, it seems like people are striving to conform, instead of walking OUTSIDE the lines of conformity, to become a very unique individual. |
Words never said better...
Well, I wish I could go out, but due to a broken car, lack of money, and I live out in the middle of nowhere, I have no choice but to stay home. Meh, its cool enough chillin on here flaming people and playing video games.
BTW, Jiffy has officially been award the "Rod-inator Bad Ass Award" for forum post excellence and achievement. I only wished I had thought and posted that before you did.

You can try to find a balance between studying and having fun. I did. I do well in college and have enough time for parties and going out.
And yeah, most of the time, I don't go out on Fridays. It is so overrated.
You're never a loser for doing something that interests you.
If you enjoy relaxing at home, reading, or posting on tranceaddict and playing video games then good for you, you're doing something that you like.
I used to go out every weekend for the longest time and I think it's totally overrated. Unless it's a special event (special Dj, birthday, etc..) I'd rather sit home and relax than waste my time and money on alcohol and cigarettes.

| Originally posted by Jiffy I know that. And I'm not saying that you necessarily should aim to not "go with the flow". My concern is, the fact that the original post and some that followed were by people who are VERY far away from the enlightenment of knowing who their own TRUE SELF is. I mean, if you have to ask, "if I stay home tonight, am I a loser" says TONS. |
