George Hales & James Cosgrove - A Distant Future (Michael Feihstel Intro Remix)
Since it got already played on Global DJ Broadcast by Markus Schulz i thought it's worth posting it here. The track starts with a distorted pad which slowly turns into something harmonic. hats come in, but no drum yet. Another pad puts the original into the background and on it's peak the drum comes in...works really well as a track to start a set with. The Track progresses while native orchestra sounds start playing the melody. On their climax it reaches the break, which introduces a new synth...very atmospheric. Especially when the drums come back in. Soon everything comes together for the main part of the track. This track isn't as relaxin' as my other productions. Feel free to request a 192kbps version if you want to play it in your set (if george and james don't mind!?) Give it a listen and leave a comment please...
And check out www.michaelfeihstel.com !

ive heard your few tracks and they are really good maybe ist not main genre of music i listen but sound very profesional, could you tell me what do you use to creating tracks??
Due to financial reasons i only use software synths...mainly Reason 2.5 and NI Pro53 / Absynth...Cubase SX 2.0 is my sequencer.
What do u think about THIS track or was your comment already related to this remix?
ive heard three tracks from you this remix, my immortal remix and leaving club mix and all are in progressive style (if i am not wrong
) and actually i like this genre but i like more trance stuff :P this track is really good and for sure will fit to markus schulz sets
OMGOMG! Amazing piece of work, Michael! Very relaxing and nicely flowing. I like the dreamy atmosphere it slowly builds. The pads are so beautiful. Definately my style of track!
This goes up there with your remixes of Linkin Park and Echano which have been my fav mixes from you for a long time and in several sets of mine so far as well.
I think i don't need to say this is something i'd want to play in my sets.
PS. Will soon reply on your "Leaving" too.
Thanks for your comments!
yes more stuff.
gonna check it out.
the start is even more strange than the club mix of leaving, i like it, otherwise the intro is cool, the strings that comes for the background are mint, gives it a bit depth, and the percs are nice, that piano is also nice. the breakdown is really climaxing and like you get this burst of chilled energy just pouring over you, you know what michi? i am so fucking loving this, this is really great, almost as great as you remix of linkin park's numb
edit: ok, i had this one on repeat for like 10 times , it's the greatest thing you ever created
i love it

I dont know if I 've evere said something else about your work but this is again again amazing
. Love how you're working on piano m8.

Good original sounds you have in this mix. The pads really fill this up nicely. Great beat, makes it lovely and easy to listen to. Break seems to last a bit too long, with some more variety in it, it would be better. The part after the break could use some more variety too, but the sound is really good.
Relaxing track, good quality, quality stuff.
//edit:
Nice website you have there!
very good track indeed. so dark and eerie..
i love it!
this is really good
really relaxing, i love it, u changed it soooooo much from the original (which is how remixes should be)
u da man!!!
o and to Jcosgrove (James), if u read this, now i know why u asked me to start producing with piano
but sorry im not as good in piano as mr. michif72 so lets leave that skill to him
great song, keep it up
great relaxing track
-waves to james-
sounds great! sorry got not much constructive to say
keep it up
john
extremely professional, synhs are quality
beats extremely weak though, for such a strong chord progression (you've gotta hold that sucker down
), there's little to no energy in the track, I don't know if that was your intention, but I reckon that could definately be worked on
otherwise, cool
hearing great reports about this one!
will download it asap!

its a mint production great pads I just really cant pick out a distinguishable melody in this track but mint anyways..
Fix link!
fixed....
Nice work here man. Alot going on, but it all comes together nicely.
If the weak kinda drive is what you were going for then it's cool.. Otherwise it has a bit of a weak drive to it.
Other than that good job man. Really enojyed it.

I like this remix, I believe it was made to be as sort of a chillout track and not one of those driving ones, But a track you can sit back, Relax and chill to, Markus just played this track again durring his sunrise set on sunday morning.
