how 2 promoting myself..

i have dificulties in promoting myself in here, coz i'm international student in canada and i don't have a lot of native friends... until now im still a bedroom DJ, i even can't make my own party in my home since i lived in apartment, my friends don't like party, and most of indonesian people in here love hip-hop and they hated my music ( whic is trancy ).. im really got f**k up in here... any advices for me... :'(

Try to get contacts for promoters in your area. just send them demos, demos and more demos.

Post a mix in the dj forum to get feedback.

Some parties here have "nu-skool rooms" where only dj's who have never played out before have a chance to get out of the bedroom.

Thats a good way of getting your mixes heard
