Ghost Smilie Bush vs. Kerry

Who should be the 44th US President???

I have a feeling, considering the demographics of people who use this forum, that it will be a blow-out in favor of...

Kerry
Bush

I would choose Bush.

Democrats like Kerry are a sign of weakness to the US. Once our troops leave Iraq and Afghanistan, terrorists will once again attack and that cannot happen at any cost.

Kerry

Lmao what a joke ... i dont think anyone can get any worse then bush so id choose a retarded ape before id vote for bush again... Bush = another 4 years of war with a shitty economy. Thing i find with many Republicans they would just pick any moron to become the spokesman for this country as long as they are a republican. Sooner we get this dude out the better we will all be.

If you can explain to me the long term relationship between Bush and Bin Ladin's family, and why 2 days after 9/11 27 Saudis flew out of the US with permission back to Saudi Arabia, inside it, family of Bin Ladin's .. Huuuuuuumm... and I think you need to look at the news hehehe..

5 votes for Bush? I wonder who voted for him.....

Posted by Nautilus on May-10-2004 19:32:

Personally I think Bush's cowboy tactics and disregard for public opinion has simply done nothing, but entrenched us in Iraq and Afghanistan (hell we've already been there for since Oct. 2001, 2 1/2 years, with no pullout in site) and made anit-US sentiment around the world more popular than ever. The markets have no confidence in him what so ever, thus our lackluster economy under his term. And one final thing that I loathe about him - when not reading a prepared speech or statement he sounds like a 7th grader giving a book report in front of class. Example from today: "Uh, Mr. Secretary, thank you for your hospitality. And thank you for your leadership. You are doing a strong job. You are a strong secretary of defence."

Oh yeah, remember he sent us to war under false pretenses, because he was eager to oust the man who tired to kill his daddy. Also, he joined the Texas Air National Guard during Vietnam - sure fire way of avoiding being sent to Vietnam at the time.

Here, here. I was going to make the same point to counter sikrav's comment, but you beat me to it. Under Clinton the US had the largest budget surplus in our history.

From CNN.com
President Clinton announced Wednesday that the federal budget surplus for fiscal year 2000 amounted to at least $230 billion, making it the largest in U.S. history...

And just 3 short years later, under Bush Jr. and a Republican Congress Majority, the current administration has run the worst deficit in our history.

Also from CNN
This week, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected deficits of $401 billion in 2003 and $480 billion in 2004, both the widest deficits in dollar terms in the nation's history

If you ask American's whether they are better off than they were 4 years ago, guaranteed a majority of us would say NO.

Sikrav is an ignoramus and a troll - don't bother justifying his posts with replies.

As for me - Kerry. I knew that Bush was a fundamentalist Christian and as such was likely to institute a bunch of illogical and backward social policies, but I never for a moment believed that he'd screw up as badly as he has. Now, speaking as a non-American: to any Americans out there: if you're a Kerry supporter, for the love of god - get out there and vote. Don't be complacent and elect Bush again, your vote can and will make a difference.

exactly ! yeah guys u gotta think that the next man u gonna elect as a president will be the president of ur country but also the most powerful man in the world and all of his actions got a lot of influence in the rest of the world .....so yeah don't vote bush again .....look as how he managed in 4 yrs to deteriorate all the relation of US and the rest of the world .....

yeah voting is important but.... remember bush was never elected in to office he was appointed by the supreme court. I wouldnt doubt it if it was all paid for ... and if he gets another term i truely believe it was then paid off.

To tell you the truth, I don't really know who to choose.
But if want to talk about politics, talk to my dad.

I think it's sad that society is unable to climb out of the rut that it has always been in: we don't care about anything except our own fattening-up. W. hasn't actually given us a good economy, but what difference would it make if he had? We're insatiable, and it doesn't matter how much wealth we accumulate: we will continue to want more. And what happens to the rest of the world? Shall we blast them off in a rocket to space so that we can have all of their resources? Oh, but we need them for labor, that's right.

If there is another controversy in this year's election, like back in 2000, and it appears that Bush stole this election as well, I will rescind my US citizenship and move to Europe!

guess who I'm voting for
