Amber wins Survivor Allstars, gets engaged to Boston Rob

Well well well, how good was the final show!!!!???

I am quite surprised that Amber won, since i thought that Boston Rob would be too good, but all of the jury are sore losers, especially that SOB Lex. Lex was practically crying, talking about all the betrayal and shi-ite, when he himself screwed over Ethan, Colby and someone else i forgot the name of. As Shi-ann said, "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

Couldn't believe it when Rob proposed to Amber. Lucky bastard!!! Even though he lost, he still got the million anyway cos he's gonna marry her. Good tactics from him.

Amber looked very fine indeed at the reunion.


Very interesting show, great ending to the series IMO.

Make sure all you survivor fans go to www.cbs.com to vote for the survivor who you think should get a million bucks, as voted by the fans. I voted for Colby.

first a big brother thread, now a survivor thread.

i voted for rob c - not because of his plea but because he was the "greatest survivor to have never won the game" (jeff probst -- survivor amazon).

yeh boston rob stuck to his strategy.. got both the girl and the million.

and shii ann got the car. she deserved it and amber acknowledged her respect.

can't believe sue went on to extreme makeover.. she's even more scary now with the plastic.. oh and HOW THE HELL DID ETHAN END UP WITH JENNA M! DAMN!!

I guessed that Amber would win. I can't believe people got so wound up in emotions, I mean it's survivor and they had all played before, they should know friendships don't really come into the game.

i'm hooked on the apprenctice too.

i have to admit. this season really wasnt as exciting. it was pretty predictable. the last tribal council made it all worthwhile tho eh? how emotional did it get. now ppl are calling those on the jury sore losers. you know what? i think thats justified because don't forget, they were all friends going into this game. this game wasnt meant to be played with ppl who had 2 yr friendships [they have a survivor alumni haha]. the difference honestly between lex fuckin colby and ethan over was that he never made any promises, and he was upfront about them going. rob made an unfront proposal/promise. "you take care of hur, i'll take care of you".

all things aside, i want an "am-buh".

Hehe I'm such a reality tv junkie..... Can't wait for There's Something About Miriam which starts tonight...looks like a classic....'cept, last episode is 2 days after I leave the country *pout*

ETA - and the most addictive one of all....Paradise Hotel *lol* So bad, but so addictive!!

Lex got cut, but seriously whether he told them (Ethan/Jerri/Colby) that he was going to screw them with/without a prior agreement (eg. Rob's deal) .. it still remains that they were playing for a million dollars and Rob did what it took to win the game.

Lex looked like a hypocrite when he said to the others that there was a clear distinction between friendship and the game, and when it was used against him he couldn't handle it. He even stood up at the reunion and said "it's survivor, there can only be one winner".

Colby was right on when he said that it's one thing to know how to play, but another to be successful.

i don't understand paradise hotel. ppl go in, ppl leave. ppl go in, ppl leave. is it even a game? also, the contestants in there don't even seem like they have half a brain. the show is relying so heavily on sex appeal, which i guess.. hmmm.. works in modern society.

it's so badly produced. i watched it for like two minutes but couldn't stand the people (i think the people in tempatation island were more attractive) and the camera/lighting/etc was shocking.

not necessarily true. rob didnt play with an ounce of integrity. he fucked THAT many ppl over, which was way more than necessary. look to past survivor winners tina, ethan, sandra? they played with integrity. even colby who came runners up after tina. pity it was colby's integrity that handed a million on a platter to her.

lex did look hypocritical, but anybody coming to the all stars game was naive to think friendships wouldn't come into it. its a right way to think initially, if ur to play with strangers which is how the game should be played. but with mates who u've developed strong bonds with. it involves the factor of "money vs friendship". can you really separate the 2 in such a game? i know i'd take it personal. some1 fucked me over for a bit of cash.. mm..

unfortunately tho, rob was the only player in the game. nobody else was really thinking, other than lex. but his game plan really sucked. numerous unos - get rid of ur weak players when ur still in separate tribes so ur tribe can win challenges. get rid of strong players when u merge, so u can win immunity. what was the boy thinking.
