Nu-NRG Spirits 6-11-2004 NYC

Anyone have any more info? This is what I got from the Nu-NRG website.

uhhh where on their website are u looking? they're in italy on the 12th of june, but nothing about nyc around that date

search button? this thread was made about a week ago...and probably someone else will make one in another week. nothing is confirmed at all.

I checked it out for the first time with David Morales spinning on Saturday. Decent set. I like what they did with the place and it has potential. Its certainly not Twilo but why bother with the comparasion?

Good sound system (I'll give it 7 out of 10)
Big (about the same size as Crobar as far as the main floor is concerned) Nice lights.. Good smoking location (main floor, one small flight up) Not sure how tough their door policy is since we got there early and I was with 4 girls. No problems getting in and no problems with the guestlist.

DJ booth could be located a little more closer to the floor but not a big deal. Beers were $7 a pop. did not venture onto the second floor which I believe is where the VIP / restaurant / massage / tarot readers are located. I did not like the location of the big "poles" around the main dance floor though.. kind of peculiar and it takes up way too much space.. another waste of space is the VIP lounges on one side of the main floor..

The vibe/people: a little older crowd which I do not mind.
alot of non-music peeps but you have to expect that with the kind of crowd I think they are trying to bring in. not too much crackies but then again I could be wrong..

I think the promoters finally have their shit together.
