What to play?

OK. Today I got my brand spanking shiny new Pioneer DJM600S.

What should be the first 2 tunes i mix on there?

A mere bit of fun but i'd be interested in everyone's opinion.

At the moment it could be Clubmasterz - Cyberdrive [Syntone's Airforce 1 Remix] into Gouryella - Tenshi [Transa Remix]... as per Ferry Corsten's 2000 Trance Energy Set.

Play some damn good tunes, or your mixer will explode... Pioneers cant't stand crappy music, it makes them overheat and kill themselfs...

I intend on it. But it's the whole thing of getting the best 2 together. A mere bit of fun.

Incidently I just did a quick drive home to see if it arrived and it has. No time to play on it though. I got free records with it too!

whatever songs u play, make sure you use the flanger more then 3 times per song...

When I first got my DJM600 my big thing was playing with the sampler. I would sample everything and throw it in at random spots. It sounded AWFUL most of the time, but sometimes I could make it sound really good. Not a very useful tool for me, but it generated quite a thrill for the first couple hours.

OK. So when I got home I was DJ Flanger for the night.... Then DJ Sampler and DJ Echo! lol!

It's an amazing mixer. I'm so made up!

And the first proper mix I did was Clubmasterz Cyberdrive into Gouryella Tenshi.

After I figured out all the switches I had to flick to get it sounding out of 2 speakers instead of one!

we had that fun trying to get a djm3000 set up in a club.. this was about 10 minutes before people piled in

but yea, its a great mixer

Tell me about it. I had to switch the main output from Mono to Stereo! But if i didn't it worked off one turntable fine but the other only played out of the right speaker! Couldn't understand that at all.

And now the sound level on one seems a little bit lower than the other.
