Good to see Diggs and Morro on the bill for a 2hour vs set! These guys absolutely rock people! They blew apart Joshva's night "A night of Trance" a month or so back!

finally surfaced.

Arrived at around 3.20pm and enjoyed some cold beers under the sun. Trent Anthony was playing at the time. Pretty funky tech house.

Things started to pick up a bit when Ben Korbel came on. He played a good selection of deep house grooves and built his set nicely finishing up with an old track featured on Dave Seaman London CD2 (cant think of the name) and a Leftfield bootleg called 'Left of Life' abosolute bomb of a track.

The place started to get packed very quickly from about 5pm and onwards, all in anticipation for Seaman.

Its 6pm and Dave Seaman steps up to the plate. Started with another Leftfield bootleg (not sure of the name) which got people very worked up. He played a great selection of driving progressive house and some very smooth prog trance. A very well structured set! The night would have been a 10/10 if it hadnt been for the faults in the equipment along the way. The needles kept skipping due to over crowdedness at the DJ booth and about 3/4 of the way through his set the mixer died for about 10/15 minutes. Here was one very unhappy Seaman and a very anxious crowd. Nice one Sounds!!

some of the tracks I could ID:

Rhythm Unlimited - All I wanna Do
Roland Klinkenberg - Monday Groove
Will Saul - Cliff (Infusion Remix)
Matthew Dekay vs Beastie Boys - Intergalactic
Nathan Fake - Adamedge
X-Press 2 - Strobelight Silhouette
Infusion vs Underworld - Legacy/Rez mash up
Flash Brothers - Amen (Lys and Gigi Remix)

The crowd at this event was awsome! Thats one thing you are guaranteed when going to a Dave Seaman event, the crowd is up for it and serious about their music. The vibe was incredible.

I can say that this has a very good chance of being party of the year for me, its gonna take a lot to beat this!

lol .. go Sounds! Almost the exact same thing happened when Paul van Dyk played at Sounds back in 2001, though that time it was some chick waving a record cover who knocked the needle off

Good to see that in three years, absolutely nothing has changed!

Glad ya had a good night though mate

What a great way to spend the day/night. Had an unreal time, as jace said, its going to be real hard to top this one.
Seaman set was a bit different to the one he played at Space. Alot more driving prog and less uplifting.
But once again he amazed me and just reaffirmed his position as my no 1 fav dj.
Sounds is a great venue with a good atmosphere and fun crowd, pity about the skipping needles.

Another track that was played
Group therapy- My own worst enemy
