Goosebumps?

who else gets them when listening to the music that we all love so much? I know I do on a regular basis

Posted by IpLaYWiTLiGhTs on May-12-2004 10:23:

One of the best children's series of all time. I had like EVERY single one. Probably why I like to read so much

Anyways, continue on with your discussion. Topic just made that pop in my head

I also get this on a regular basis, normally when listening to epic Breakdowns or chable like melodies.

RL Stine's books was soo addictive back when I was 10.

I didnt read goosbumps though.. I think I read "Spooksville" or something!

Anyways, trance is the only genre that give me goosebumps!

I do get them. I actually got them this morning, while riding the bus, listening to Mike Shiver & Daniel Haze presents Perpetua featuring Kyara - Second Season. Massive tune !

Yes, I definitely get goosebumps when listening to trance.

And yes, I read Goosebumps when I was 10.

Yes, and trance is the only thing that does it.

Trance sometimes can induce feelings of mild euphoria.

Yes, certain tunes do... more than just feeling good, actual mild euphoria. After I listen to Silver Bath, my favourite tune (made a post about it 10 minutes ago on t.nu, weird) I usually feel kinda euphoric... dunno how to describe it really, a bit of a rush and I seem to be jumping around and bursting out laughing at random moments as if I'm high.

Yeah, that tune does a lot of things to me

Posted by ojste on May-12-2004 22:51:

yea happens when certain tunes kick in....

our school pushed goosebumps on us like it was crack, trying to get us hooked on "phonics"... I remember reading a goosebumps book a day couldnt get enough of them.

as for the music. all the effen time, i love when i get the chills during a massive build.

Posted by Noctone on May-13-2004 01:52:

Deffo. Best example I can think of is when The Palisades kicked in at the end of Zabiela's Feb. EM. That shit got me.

Hell yeah I do! Some songs give me a rush every time that I hear them regardless of how old the song is. If a song brings back a fond memory...goosebumps indeed.

I love the feeling of getting goosebumps when a massive break is about to kick in, simply an awesome feeling. Nu-NRG live at orgasmatron 5-5-02 does it pretty damn well.

It only happens to one song.. and it's not even a song..

But I get them whenever I listen to the opening of Tiesto In Concert because the magnitude of the event really hits me - plus it's a historic opening. I can't even imagine what it would've been like if that was the first time anyone had ever heard his remix of Adagio for Strings.

The same thing happens to me! When the MC is talking as it leads in to Adaigo for Strings and you can hear the pyros go off. I get goosebumps every time.
