Posted by Ste on May-12-2004 14:23:

8 litre engine, its a lean mean polluting machine

pretty mental engine though, v16

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-12-2004 14:26:

only 1000 horse power...

Posted by dj_mdma on May-12-2004 14:30:

ah the Veyron, a car that has been through tumultous phases before its even been introduced to the road.

8 litre quad turbo W16 engine, pushing out 987 bhp, with an estimated top speed of 252 mph.

will cost something like 1,000,000 euros, about 650,000pounds

was meant to have arrived in april, but won't come til next summer i believe.

its also got diamonds in the speedometer or something?!

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-12-2004 14:38:

I was expecting to see a roller coaster.

Posted by chesco on May-13-2004 12:03:

the fact that it weights a ridiculous amount would also suggest it handles rubbish!!

weight increases handeling, as does the fact that a hummer is only a few inches bigger in width.

I think that bugatti, and the F1 are fugly. I'd rather have an XJ220, that is a classy motor, even if it is driven from the front wheels and packs as much power as a lawnmower, its not like u can really test the mettle of these things anyhow without breaking the law and/or killing yourself.

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-14-2004 17:15:

now that is 1 ghetto coaster
