Best Beaches in NY ?

i havent been to the beaches in ny in like 5yrs lol.. anywhere thats really nice not too far ?[im in queens]

You can never go wrong with field 4 or field 6 at Jones Beach. There really nice.

no not field 4, dont go there!!! get to field 6 ASAP, but early in the morning, before 9AM... try that. if not try long beach, if you can find parking....

Long Beach is great - especially for us city folk that don't have cars. Killer waves at the right time, soft sand and a nice boardwalk.

You can take the LIRR and buy a beach pass inlcusive in your roundtrip ticket - only about 50 minutes from Penn station (try and take the express).

My aunt used to take me to coney island all the time when i was younger.....i miss that place.

Anyways, Montauk is the best.

That's from my own experience-maybe it would make a good date! Take a girl out for dinner on the boardwalk and then lie near the water. It's not what the beach can necessarily bring you, it's what (or who) u can bring to the beach.
