DAMM! This is gooood!!!
i just made myself a milk shake with frozen fruits and fresh bananas and ice cubes...hmmmm!
anybody got some cool summer recipes for drinks? 
making your own lemonade is always good on a hot summer day. i think you have the best idea tho, adding little yogurt is good too. thickens up your blend quite nicely.
Mojito
Besides a Bloody Caesar (spicy) {which is my all year favorite drink} my favorite summer drink is the Mojito:
3 fresh Mint sprigs
2 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
1 1/2 oz Cuban Rum
Club Soda
In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lemon juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint, and serve.
Serve in: Parfait Glass
Bloody Caesar
The Bloody Caesar was made specifically for the gods - I am sure of it.
1 oz Vodka
Salt
Celery Salt
Pepper
1 dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 dash Tabasco Sauce
Clamato Juice
Rim tall glass with celery salt, fill with ice and ingredients. Garnish with a celery stick, straw, and lime.
Serve in: Collins Glass

ya we just made shakes a few days ago, fresh strawberries/kiwi/banana in ur usual daquiri type shake
but we screwed something up..lol, didnt quite taste right

my old roommate and I used to make ice cream shooters.
wed take a couple scoops of ice cream, add some vodka and blend it all together in the blender...it was awesome!
favourite type of ice cream to use: Beyers Orange Creamsicle

Vodka "7"
ingredients:
2 oz Vodka
Juice of 1/2 Limes
Lemon-Lime Soda
1 Lime wedge
Directions:
Pour vodka and lime juice over ice cubes in a collins glass. Drop the lime wedge in and fill with lemon-lime soda. Stir well, and serve.

Best summer drinks are Margaritas tho.

...they always make me sooo drunk ~ unexpectedly! too good! ..but i hate the brain freeze!
