decided to add one to all these relationship polls. very plain and simple: are they for you or not?

I can't say that they are, for one there's the risk of STDs, and on top of that there's the fact that I prefer to have some kind of emotional connection with anyone who I hop into bed with. In short, I personally prefer to have sex within a relationship rather than out of one.

Now, that being said - I don't think that there's inherently anything wrong with one nigh stands, they're just not for me.

The problem I have with one night stands is that had I not had a one night stand I might have got to know the guy better and found out that he was a really cool person but since I just screwed him spontaneously then there's an unwritten rule that we will go our separate ways. It's kind of sad, because you end your friendship with that person before it even begins just so that you can get your rocks off. Don't get me wrong: I like sex as much as the next person, but I only partake in one night stands under the most extreme of circumstances. Hey, I guess I'm just not that desperate.
